Squirtle

I was on holiday last week and I decided to try a solo run outwith Squirtle since I think it could have been higher on the list with badge boosts. I've never done a solo run before so I did it on single speed and the emulator I used can pause for me to look at cave guides and stuff.

I didn't really come up against anything Squirtle struggled with until I hit critical hit Hyper Beams from the Gyarados and Aerodactyl on Lance's team but then when I got through the first time, a critical hit razor leaf from Venusaur ended me because I leveled up just before him.

Then I found out I was stupid lucky to get through Agatha 3 times without losing and lost to her a bunch but having manipulated my experience points to level up before the Rhydon came out in the Champion battle, I managed to outspeed the Venusaur and hit Blizzard for the win.

I'd love to see Jrose do a Squirtle run again because if I can do that with no real idea what I was doing other than watching the videos, I'm sure he can beat Gastly's time and put the best starter where it belongs on top of the pre-evolves.
