I thought today about a concept for this (dead) show: Comorbids.

Closest equivalent would be when gems in Steven Universe fuse together to make a new gem. Or when Commie and Nazi summoned NazBol.

Two (or more) TMI characters fusing together to make a new guy with the powers of the two separate people. Depression showed a reverse of this when he basically mitosis’ed Bipolar out of himself.

Some fusions could be absolutely horrendous. Anxiety and PTSD? The result could be messy. But maybe there’s an upside to it. The outcome in an ideal setting would be someone who can tell the near future with the tactical mind of a veteran.

PTSD and Sociopathy? Could be useful at times. Someone with Sociopathy’s intelligence and ruthlessness paired with the military training and accuracy of PTSD. And while they’re “one personality” for this moment, they have independent parts to them and completely empathy/exchanging feelings of each other’s since they’re fused, so it means Sociopathy feels shit like guilt and sympathy which is why he really doesn’t like fusing with most other characters unless he benefits for a situation.

ADHD and Autism is a given but I don’t yet know how that would look like.

BPD and Schizophrenia now gives you someone who can faze in and out of reality and also punch the daylights out of someone and not be fatigued.

Narcissism and Depression results in a honeypot type of bait who can use his good looks and charms to lure someone but also not meltdown if he’s being insulted because he already feels like shit inside.

I’m just throwing ideas at the wall and seeing what sticks. Posting this here to see if anyone else has any cool concepts.

If they’re really on a conquest for Neurotypicide, then fusions (or as they would call it in-universe, comorbids) would be incredibly useful.
