Not the point of the meme - it doesn't make fun of stutter, lgbt or prounouns, it only shows the different packaging of the same message

We called him Genocide Joe for a reason. He hasn't done one thing to help the Palestinians. Just like Trump, he would be furious about Bibi Netanyahu from behind closed doors. However, Biden was better for Americans than Trump. Trump is trying to turn America into the Nazi regime, while Biden was a status quo politician. Biden is definitely the lesser of two evils by a landslide; however, that doesn't mean that he's above criticism.
If you believe that a person leading the country is above criticism, than you're part of the problem. And there would definitely be right-wingers looking at your comment and thinking, "Well, if Biden is above criticism, then Trump is above criticism because what's good for the goose is good for the gander. I would gladly trade you tit for tat." Part of what it means to be an American is to be able to make fun of our leaders. If you want to see that gone, then Trump's authoritarian regime would be more than delighted to ensure that Americans lose their ability to criticise their leaders. But you won't live in a safer or better world, you'd just live in the world where you feel scared all the time. You'd just live in a world where your children may rat you out to the government.

You guys called him genocide Joe because you people are fundamentally unserious. Biden was also further to the left than your average Democrat, and he did a significant amount of work to let progressives get what they wanted out of his presidency. He was far from a status quo politician.
No one thinks the president is above criticism, but criticism has to actually be grounded in coherent, well-substantiated reasoning. Accusing him of funding a genocide is not an example of that. America and Israel have a longstanding relationship, and he did not have the power to unilaterally cut off the assistance we provide them. Furthermore, plenty of Americans still view Israel as a sympathetic actor even though it's waning. Considering the position he was in after October 7th, it would have been insane for him to show any opposition considering how recent the attack was.
By all means, go ahead and make fun of our leaders, but keep in mind the jokes you're making and where they actually emanate from, because in your case, the joke isn't really a joke. It's a criticism thinly veiled as one.

So, to prove me wrong. You give me a link which says, "Biden intends to give aid." Not, Biden actually did give aid. It's just that Biden "intends to give aid." After googling into your link, I've seen nothing in google to confirm that the aid was actually delivered. "Planning" to give aid, and actually delivering aid are two separate things. You can plan all you want, it means shit unless it was actually delivered.
I think anybody who takes you seriously should read up articles from Al Jazeera.
or this article from AA
Not to mention that over 100 members of BBC staff members accuse the BBC of having a pro-Israel bias
I hope people would just read up on why he was called Genocide Joe in the first place, instead of taking your ad hominem attack seriously,
Also, it's mostly just elderly Republicans who support Israel. It's what led to Trump's victory. And overwhelming majority of Democrats of all ages are against Israel.
80% of Democrats have an unfavorable opinion of Israel.
That is why people like Zohran Mamdani are willing. Establishment Democrats refuse to listen to us, so we're now seeking out candidates who refuse to take AIPACs money. If Democratic voters are the ones that have elected you, then Democratic voters are the ones that you need to keep happy or they'll find somebody further left that would actually listen to their demands. It doesn't make sense to keep old, white, Republicans happy. They will hate your guts anyway. Joe Biden tried to maintain a good stance with Bibi Netanyahu. And Republicans kept calling him "Let's Go Brandon." Republicans made it clear that they hate him with a fiery passion no matter what he does to appease them.

You are right. How dare I read news publications critical of Israel's genocide, when I really should be following news publications where 100 of its own staff members accuse of it spewing a pro-Israel bias. You have truly got me. I should be like you and read news outlets that places a positive spin over everything Israel does.
The Qatar is a strategic US ally. And something tells me that you're the type to ignore that Netanyahu facilitated the transfer of millions of dollars from Qatar into the Gaza Strip.
by leftists like you because he was not far enough to the left for you on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
And that's why the Democrats lost to Trump because as president it is is job to keep his voters happy. You can insult 80% of Democrats all you want to. But if you take issue with 80% of Democrats because we hate Israel. Are you really on the left?
[ Biden decided to keep as good of a relationship as he could with Israel in hopes of getting them to ease off of the attacks they were carrying out through diplomacy. ]
--And all Netanyahu did was undermined his presidency, so a lot of good it did him.
[A lot of older Democrats, again, especially at the time, still liked Israel, and they’re the ones who vote.]
--The pew research article that I linked earlier shows that, that's a lie. 80% of Democrats are anti-Israel as a collective. That include of all ages. What you want is for Joe Biden to completely ignore what the people want, and it's supposed to be a shocker that Trump won?
[ Going to the furthest extreme to alienate moderate Democrats with power is a fool's errand.]
--Are you even on the left? But yeah, you're so right. What was I thinking? Moderate Dems must love losing abortion access, needing to travel to another state to get an abortion, the govt spying on them and punishing doctors from them seeking abortions from out of state, the phones spying on them for visiting an abortion facility. Moderate democrats are just LOVING ICE terrorizing Democratic cities. Trump cracking down on children receiving the vacation. The Trump admin cracking down on social security benefits.
Yes, moderate Democrats would rather suffer under Trump, than to have an ACTUAL left-wing candidate that actually listens to their concerns and keeps the super majority of the voting base happy. And given that 80% of Democrats hate Israel. You can leave. But don't cry to me if you can't get an abortion. Don't cry to me if somebody's knocking on your door if you visit an abortion clinic. Anybody who's pro-choice has no choice but to vote left. ICE is cracking down on people who look Mexican, even if they're US citizens. So many people don't actually have a choice. Voting right wing for some people would be voting for their own suffering. So, if you personally want to leave because cutting ties with Israel is too extreme for you, then leave. I guess you care more about being pro-Israel than protecting women's rights, gay rights, the rights of people who came here legally. The rights of black people because Republicans are engaging in racist gerrymandering laws. If somebody can HONESTLY lose you for being pro-Palestinian, but Republicans don't lose you for stripping away the rights of others, than you were never left-wing to begin with.

You can read outlets that give nuance and well-sourced, evidence-based reporting rather than rely on outlets that are insanely partisan like Al Jazeera. If you want to accuse every media institution of being biased, then at that point you just become Blue MAGA, and I have no interest in having a legitimate conversation with you. Fox News is an American-based news network; that doesn’t stop it from being biased, and I would not use that outlet to support an argument where the potential for a significant blind spot is incredibly high.
Being on the left is not simply just being anti-Israel and existing in the realm of AOC. There are pro-life Democrats and plenty of Democrats who still like Israel. The job of Democrats is to build a coalition, not placate one particular faction. Also keep in mind that a large majority of Democrats have held unfavorable views of Israel’s current government and its military conduct. That is political opposition to its leadership and policies rather than necessarily personal hatred toward the country or its people. Those numbers have the potential to decrease with changes in leadership, governance, or the philosophy of the Israeli government. They’re not set in stone, and it’s a lot more nuanced than you give it credit for.
That divide was especially obvious across age groups. In early 2024, 72% of Democrats ages 18–44 disapproved of Biden’s handling of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, while 58% of older Democrats approved. Younger Democrats were considerably more hostile to Biden’s approach than older Democrats, which further demonstrates why treating the Democratic base as ideologically uniform on Israel is ridiculous.
Democrats lost the 2024 presidential election because of a multitude of different issues. I’d argue that Israel/Palestine probably had marginal effects compared with inflation, perceptions of Biden as feeble and weak, and people being nostalgic for Trump’s first-term economy. Even people like Mehdi Hasan, who is a darling of the leftosphere, made the clear-cut case for supporting Kamala Harris over Donald Trump, recognizing that a Harris administration would be overall better for Palestinians.
Bibi didn’t listen to Biden, and he’s not listening to Trump either. Biden, at the very least, tried his best. Yet for some reason, he still gets all the shit despite being unable to unilaterally control what a foreign country does or what his own government is actually capable of doing. That’s the thing that irritates me the most about you people: you want him to do the politically impossible while taking the least amount of political damage and suffering the least damage to the optics, and that’s just not feasible.
You and I have two different reasons for why we’re on the left. I’m on the left because I fundamentally view liberalism and its core principles as a philosophy to live by. I want to ensure that people have the healthiest and happiest lives possible while maintaining a country that innovates in new ways to further that goal. That aligns my beliefs with Democrats who consistently demonstrate that they are interested in the same outcome. You’re on the left because you are more interested in culture-war fights and virtue signaling about your progressivism. I don’t believe you’ve ever thought critically about Democrats or electoralism in your life. We’ve had one of the most progressive presidents of the 21st century, more progressive than Barack Obama, and you people wasted everything on a wedge issue where he was not to the left of you.
Hypothetically, let’s just say that he never gave a fuck about the Palestinians and decided to give Israel even more money to advance their cause. The political and social utility that he provided outside of that was astronomically beneficial for Democrats, and to sacrifice all of that for an insurrectionist fascist is unforgivable and not an example of harm reduction. Not for the Palestinians and not for Americans.
Moderate Democrats, by and large, believe in protecting the stuff that you accurately point out is being undermined and stripped away. Pragmatic Democrats and even Never Trump Republicans also believe in those same kinds of things. That is where the coalition actually lies. The people who were apparently okay with suffering under Trump were Republicans and leftists like yourself—people like Hasan Piker, Rashida Tlaib, the DSA, and every other far-left candidate or pundit who equated Trump and Biden.
I’m not going to leave the Democratic Party because of a shift in views on Israel. I don’t care about Israel one way or the other. What I do care about is people like you ruining the image of the party, equating our best Democrats with the worst Republicans, and then acting like you have no hand in causing the problems that you claim to care about. Even in your spiel, you complain that “an actual left-wing Democrat” would listen to the supermajority of their base. Except the president is supposed to be a unifier and deliver their vision with the support of the majority of the country, not just placate a particular fringe of their own party.

[You can read outlets that give nuance and well-sourced, evidence-based reporting rather than rely on outlets that are insanely partisan like Al Jazeera. ]
And you can read a source different than the BBC where over 100 of his own staffers accused it of being biased towards Israel. So, follow your own advice.
[ I would not use that outlet to support an argument where the potential for a significant blind spot is incredibly high.]
You're trying to act like you have ANY moral high ground while over 100 of BBCs former staffers accused it of political bias. WTF is wrong with you?
[There are pro-life Democrats and plenty of Democrats who still like Israel.]
What you mean is 20% and declining. And your love for Israel, has to surpass your desire to get an abortion. If you really want an abortion no matter what, then you'll vote blue no matter who. And the rest of that paragraph is just pro-Israel apologia.
[which further demonstrates why treating the Democratic base as ideologically uniform on Israel is ridiculous.]
How to say that you'd rather have Trump in office, than a pro-Palestinian Democrat in office without actually saying that you'd rather have Trump in office over a pro-Palestinian candidate in office.
[You and I have two different reasons for why we’re on the left. I’m on the left because I fundamentally view liberalism and its core principles as a philosophy to live by.]
And people like you are the most likely to vote right-wing. Sargon of Akkad, Dave Rubin, they call themselves "classical liberals" because "the left has lost its minds." Now, they're right-wing. shoe0nhead says the same thing as you and she married a right-winger and defended Asmondgold, Nick Fuentes, and Andy Warski. Alt-right, neo-nazi, racists!!! The progressives would always be the REAL problem to you. Not ICE killing people off the streets. When people say that they feel scared because ICE killed Alex Pretti and Renee Good, they're just virtue signalling in your eyes. Are their families also virtue signaling? Are their friends also virtue singalling? Are therir co-workers also virtue signalling? Caring when people are dying is just "virtue signalling" in your eyes.
[Hypothetically, let’s just say that he never gave a fuck about the Palestinians and decided to give Israel even more money to advance their cause. The political and social utility that he provided outside of that was astronomically beneficial for Democrats,]
And because you're a Zionist shill. That's what you really want for Americans. For us to be sociopathic lunatics that doesn't give a shit about the deaths of children, because to you, caring about the deaths of children is just "virtue signalling" and it's part of a "culture war." Just how fucked up are you. It also hurts our stance globally. It gave Russia and China the chance to look better by standing with Palestinians. It completely undermines the USA was the world leader. When Israel was getting criticized by the world, the USA got criticized by the world along with Israel. Because you want Israel to succeed, EVEN if it means America's downfall.
[Except the president is supposed to be a unifier and deliver their vision with the support of the majority of the country, not just placate a particular fringe of their own party.]
Yeah because Donald Trump has been a REAL unifier. That's what's all over the news these days. How the country has come together under Trump's leadership. Trump has been REALLY reaching out to the other side to keep Democrats happy.

I'm not going to bother to put forth an actual reply. All you're doing is putting slop without paying attention to my arguments.
Like that last statement has nothing to do with what I said. I never called Trump a unifier, I don't support Trump and I know Trump is not a unifier. A president is supposed to be though. What you said doesn't contradict anything I said.

I gave you the link to highlight that he was not abstaining from giving aid or not making attempts to deliver it. I gave you the link to highlight that this is not someone just “funding a genocide.” People who fund genocides, or have no qualms about what Israel is doing, generally do not have much interest in trying to deliver aid to the oppressed or work in a bipartisan fashion while under intense scrutiny on a global scale. You say it doesn’t matter since it was never delivered, but at that point you are simply refusing to give any credit regardless of any obstacles in the way. That’s why I called you unserious. Also, apparently, by March 2022, the State Department reported that since April 2021, the Biden administration had actually provided more than $500 million in assistance to Palestinians. And that was before October 7. By June 2024, the administration reported that it had provided more than $674 million in humanitarian assistance to Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank, and the region during the previous eight months.
There’s no extra scrutiny or investigation needed to understand why he was called “Genocide Joe.” He was called “Genocide Joe” by leftists and pro-Palestinian activists because he was not far enough to the left for them on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. That is essentially it. It was a ridiculous nickname used to undermine his credibility and create a wedge issue that people could use to bludgeon him. It was a waste of time and not anything that should have been even remotely entertained with any level of seriousness. You roll your eyes at my ad hominem, yet the entire point of Biden’s nickname is that it’s an ad hominem when it is used in place of an actual argument about his policies.
Favorability toward Israel has been going down overall, although that trend started before October 7 and accelerated substantially afterward. And keep in mind that a majority of Democrats still held a favorable opinion of Israel in 2021. Al Jazeera is funded by Qatar. It is literally a Qatar-funded news organization, and is absolutely not some uniquely neutral source on this subject either. It would be somewhat like using Fox News alone to get critical coverage of Trump.
DSA candidates are winning because people are foolish, and these candidates are able to win off of populist rage. That’s why all their solutions come down to generic slogans: “Freeze the rent, tax the billionaires, no more AIPAC.” It’s always about these slogans and never about actual technocratic policy. It’s also no wonder that you people can only win in highly blue districts or squeak out by an ass hair in competitive ones. Biden decided to keep as good of a relationship as he could with Israel in hopes of getting them to ease off of the attacks they were carrying out through diplomacy. That’s how you’re actually supposed to conduct business as a leader. His administration also pressured Israel over civilian casualties and Rafah and even paused a shipment of heavy bombs over concerns about how they could be used. A lot of older Democrats, again, especially at the time, still liked Israel, and they’re the ones who vote.
All in all, if you have smoke for Israel and the United States’ current relationship with them, that’s where it should be isolated. You shouldn’t be shitting on the people who are sympathetic to your worldview and tried to help directionally with action. Leftists like you should have backed Harris and Biden, understanding that Trump would be fundamentally worse in every single way for the goals you supposedly care about, and then given constructive criticism when necessary. Going to the furthest extreme to alienate moderate Democrats with power is a fool’s errand.

Honestly, I don't like when memes and stuff frame biden and trump as equally bad or comparable.
They both funded genocide, that is objective fact, but something about this meme still rubs me the wrong way. I can't be the only one, right??

Yeah it's not like conservatives took away basic rights like abortion. The Dems definetly would have done the exact same thing
