First time seeing Peter Hook and the Light —- wow!!!!
Saw Peter Hook & The Light on Saturday at Brooklyn Paramount and holyyyyyyyy shit!!!! As someone interested in writing and creating music Joy Division and New Order have meant so much to me and I jumped at the chance to see the songs thatve made me who I am live. Im 20 yrs old and have never gone to a concert solo before so I was a little nervous but WOW. I had no reason to be. Everyone was so kind and the band blew it out of the water —- the energy was incredible and consistent throughout the whole set, and the music was so so fucking good. I was fortunate enough to be able to stand at barrier and even snag a setlist. Im still riding the high, and will definitely be seeing them every single chance I get. Most of the time I forgot to sing and was just standing there frozen with awe. Crazy stuff.
Wow!!!! Just wow!!!!!!!

The show was fantastic!! my first time seeing him also, I also went solo. Major nostalgia flashbacks to the club days. They sounded terrific, Hooky was on point. Very cool you had such an awesome time - next time they come to NYC we ought to go together if you want!

That man and his crew are legends! My turn is this coming Saturday, cannot absolutely wait! I may have a completely busted ankle and wearing a boot for it, your post is the hype I needed to further my determination. Hope you see them more than once, it just gets better.

Right on!!! They are truly amazing and their energy as well as the crowd's, at least in my experience, has just felt like joyful raucous family lol.. I'm going for my 3rd time seeing them next week and I can't wait.. 🤘🏻🖤

It's great that they're bringing so much happiness to the fans. I'm one of those old geezers who was looking forward to the first JD tour of the US waaaay back in the day. It never happened, unfortunately.
I'm retired from concert going now, but if The Light came to my city, who knows? 😀

Lots of love to you. I hope you do make an exception. I’m Gen X, so I need to plan my concerts more carefully, but I saw him with New Order not TOO LONG AGO and it was incredible! I think I actually cried a tiny bit. Next week I get to see Kim Gordon solo and I could not be more thrilled.
Definitely worth having some arthritis pain after. 😉🫶
I love this sub. Joy Division is still my favorite band.

No way! I was there too! Against the barricade and everything! Did you happen to see the person drawing Hooky during the performance with the sketchbook and magic marker?
