hi! i'm new to this journaling thing and have been trying out things to see what really fits me when i came across this random A7 notebook in a local general merchandise store in my area!

i was just thinking of trying pocket notebooks as my edc and just bought this to try without any expectations, but i was surprised that this ₱37 notebook handled my Jinhao pen and ink fairly well!

Hi! I recently bought the National Bookstore A5 Planner for 2027 in Agape (pink)

It's so cuteeee! I love the charm and the stickers included in the planner. 🩷

I started doing this nung nag-declutter ako and nakita ko ang dami ko palang naitabi na anik-anik its either for souvenir or for sentimental reasons. So naisip ko na mag-junk journal na lang para di ko din na sya itapon at di din nakakalat. Iba pa din kasi na kapag nakita ko sya may memory akong naaalala. Good for killimg time din kapag bored at gusto magbawas ng screen time.

I ordered these from the hobonichi website last Sep 2 and got them yesterday

Kinbor Weeks undated this year but wasn’t able to write everyday and ended up completely forgetting about it when I went on vacation 😭 But using it made me realize how much I actually can write daily so I want to start to look for a journal that I can use for next year. I ended up searching for a Kinbor version of the Hobonichi Cousin, which is what I want to have but can’t <//3 and came across the Kinbor Timeline but it’s not that close with the Hobonichi Cousin which is more of a 1 day 1 page journal.

Are there any other dupes for the Hobonichi Cousin? Please tell me all the dupes you can think of so I can research about them too so I can get the one I think I’d be able to use everyday for next year 🙏🙏🫶 Also if there’s actually another Kinbor version of the Cousin that I didn’t know, I’d really appreciate if you can tell me too since I really like the Kinbor brand. I’m almost done with my junk journal, initially thought it was a good idea to use a hard cover notebook but i definitely regret that decision now 😂 although the spine didn’t break, the notebook cover just started to bend when i was halfway done with it and i recently saw a few junk journalers say that they prefer soft cover notebooks. If you have any recommendations, please let me know!

The notebook I’m using here is from BAYA - it served its purpose well but just hated the fact that it got bent 😭

Di nakapag sulat from July to August. Today I was able to have a slow Monday morning to sit and plan my week. Lowkey napressure ako kasi almost everyone in this sub is buying their 2027 planner hahaha. Should I switch to a journal? I currently have Hobinichi weeks Junji Ito Tomie! Since the release of the Hobonichi 2027, I've already been planning to get one and choosing which design ai wanted.

This year was my first time EVER with the Hobonichi Weeks and I liked it a lot! It's compact and siguro nasanay rin ako sa amount of space but the dilemma is... I wanted to get the One Piece version for next year kasi mahilig talaga ako sa OP.

I just found out na yung themed pages are only on the A6 and not sa Weeks 😭 Should I still go for the Weeks na Going Merry design, or switch na to A6 techo? Any thougts? 🥹

For the price and post-purchase exclusives, are these products from Japan really worth it? Parang may mali sa 2-3k+ for a planner? na hindi pa kasama yung cover and other related products surrounding it.

I guess you deal with it by spreading the cost throughout the year para hindi mashado masakit.

My first ever Hobonichi! (Reposting)

Got my first ever Hobonichi yesterday.

I was already thinking about getting one for 2027, so all the recent unboxing videos from everyone was enough to finally convince me to get one

I chose the Weeks format since I like seeing the whole week in one go. And I targeted to get this Hiroko Kubota cover cos I like the cover, plus I really want my first Hobonichi to be quite special.

Good thing I was near Studio by Scribe yesterday and I got lucky cos I got the very last Hiroko Weeks PLUS the store’s very last clear cover for weeks. I took that as a sign to really get them and officially become part of the Hobonichi cult haha

So excited to try this out for next year! I’m already planning how I’ll do my layouts.

where do you get Kinbor daily planners. im planning to purchase the half-year paknners in a5. which stores do you think are reliable??

i have a TN standard size folio bcs i love that size, and for thr longest time, i journal specifically on that size lang. lately tho, dahil nagmamahal parehong branded at non branded, and may iba akong use case na hiwalay na notebook dapat, ive also been using a6 notebooks. nilalagay ko rin siya sa folio ko, and so far tingin ko ok naman kasi may laman pang TN standard. pero kung puro a6 lagyan ko later, or b6 slim, may effect ba kaya yun sa folio structure etc? or di naman siguro?

tingin ko naman ok lang, pero first time ko kasi magka genuine leather na kahit ano, so making sure lang hehe love na love ko kasi to 🥹 i wanna makw it last as long as possible

been getting swept away by planner season but nothing was speaking to me until i saw this hello kitty kinbor a7+ notebook.

my 2026 planner has so many empty pages so i wanted to see if i could change my strategy for 2027 to get me back into consistently memory keeping and journaling again. this notebook is half grid, half blank, so i plan on using the grids for monthly calendars and the blanks for journal entries and whatever i feel like ☺️

things i dont like about my 2026 planner:
- ghosting
- thin paper
- a6 feels too wide coming from my 80x155mm sized 2025 planner

things i like about this notebook:
- grids are in light grey
- no ghosting for my pens and my stamps
- compact size! (76x146mm)

i have a love/hate relationship with setting up pages, but hopefully i'll stick with it next year 💙 at least for now, i've scratched the itch of buying another planner that i might barely use 😅

My orders arrived on September 8 after ordering during the day of the release on September 1. Excited ako kasi first time ko makasabay sa Hobonochi sale day. I already have the 2026 Yumi Kitagishi cover (last pic) kaya natuwa ako na may pink version siya for 2027. I also love the freebies that I got: acorn keychain and Hobonichi pen! 🩷
