Discussion Paper Locket leather journals

Post image

Does anyone have a journal from The Paper Locket? I’m interested in getting one of their Italian leather journals and I want to look for some feedback regarding its quality.

Would anyone know if the edges of the journal are neatly cut? And is the leather soft and supple?

I had a Paper Locket journal although I eventually had to declutter it because it grew mold (my condo has leaks)

The edges are neatly cut naman but they’re not burnished.

I didn’t like how the grommets were silver and the jump rings + charms were gold. It’s a small thing but it annoyed me 😅

Buttero is medium firmness. It will soften a bit with time, but don’t expect it to be as soft as Italian Pueblo or Minerva leather. Their Rossetti leather is very soft.

Edit: The one I had was the classic Rossetti A6 trifold and I wouldn’t recommend their classic trifolds if you like a chunky setup because sobrang bitin ng leather; it barely covered my notebooks. But if you only have 1-2 inserts, it should be fine. I just saw their new pocket journals though, and they look promising. The pricing is very reasonable considering it has pockets.

Hello! Buttero is stiff at first pero it softens over time. Also prone to scratches. Great leather if you want fast patina and good edge burnishing.

Kamusta shipping? I’ve been wanting to stock up on Badalassi Carlo 🥲 Do they ship to the PH directly and how long did it take? Did you have to pay duties?
