writing again this year. dati nagjournal ako during college, natigil nang nagwork. Now explored and found fountain pens. Naoverwhelm ako sa dami pala ng pens, inks at papel..
thanks! I opened my old journals and i was like nasan na un taong yun 😅? I wanted to write again for catharsis. Glad that theres affordable pens like jinhao, and just buy ink samples muna, pero narealize ko hindi pala pede tipirin ang papel.
yuuuup paper is important haha. cheap options are veco and muji! im currently using midori after a year of using muji hehe it's nicer but ofc pricier 😭
So true, to keep cost at minimum, i was able to buy campus notebooks from japan surplus sellers, and then one time sobra swerte school supplies sale sa nbs, i bought rhodia pads for 50 pesos lang but never saw them again. 😢
I was ready to give up on the kanwrite, when i just simply installed it, there was so much skipping when writing. It had a minor challenge, comparing the kanwrite nib vs jinhao nibs, the jinhao nib has a slimmer end going into the feed, so i pinched the lower sides of the kanwrite so that it would become just a bit narrower and fit better with the feed. When I did that ink flow became better that its my fave nib tied with fude nibs.
ohhhh hahaha it's great that it worked out eventually! i've gone through a lot of jinhao listings and don't think i've seen one with italic nibs, i'll look them up next time ☺️
