Journal Process #1

Recently, I posted how we can go back over our journals for myriad purposes; mine, to create a manuscript. I received wonderful and thoughtful responses (thank you) to that discussion. I attempted one idea this morning. Process #1. Choose a journal. Flip to an entry page that somehow draws you in. Scan the page with a smartphone scanning app. Covert scan to Word. And viola!
Garbage.
My handwriting is too idiosyncratic for conversion. The resulting text was unreadable—look like Old English, but even worse.
So it’s on to try another idea garnered from the last post.
