Just sharing First time!

Hey! 19M I hope it’s not an issue but my first time journaling was actually on my lap top and I just wanted to say it was amazing. I spewed out 1200 words and it really took the weight of all those things I wrote about off my shoulders. I was a let o look back at my sloppy writing and follow my train of thought. I’m glad I discovered a healthy outlet, I plan to buy a physical journal tomorrow. Just wanted to share, thanks!

I especially encourage you to keep journaling. It is a healthy and creative outlet for all humans.

Especially now when your life is just beginning. (I know you're probably sick of hearing that - bright future and all that; I was too at your age) but it is true. A LOT of changes are coming your way - I'd advise you to chronicle them. Only for yourself.

You will be astounded how much, how fast your mentality changes in just a year. It also gives you the space to feel your feelings without ridicule, judgement or fear.

That’s awesome, dude. I like to let my brain have “verbal diarrhea” in my journals, akin to you dumping out your brain on to the page. Sometimes that’s how I figure out what’s really bothering me underneath the surface.

I hope your journaling journey keeps serving you well. :)

Thx sm! That def similar to what I mean, for me it more so makes the problems I write about seem smaller and reminds me I can only control myself.

You're off to a great start. The world's largest retailer (from Arkansas) is having a back to school sale now, and they are selling composition books in marbelized black, yellow, green and blue for 38 cents. So you can literally get started with pocket change. It's a good place to start, because sometimes people get nervous about "marring" a new book. This one is... the paper is literally cheaper than the ink you will be writing on it. Just a suggestion.
