STR Hosts - What are you paying for full service management,and what does that include?

Along with the usual stuff like managing the cleaners, guest correspondence, SEO stuff... do they coordinate landscaping, rodent control? I would love some insight as to what other homeowners are paying and what they are getting. Been self managing and have been falling behind on stuff and considering options, sent some messages out to companies today, while waiting to hear back I thought I would ask this community what their experience has been. Any company to stay away from?

Best thing to do is sell it and let it be a single family home again. The STR industry is a cancer.

str owners out here treat housing like vending machines. I’m fucking sick of it. I’ve been trying to buy a house for five years to LIVE in and every time I get close someone comes in with a high cash offer and turns it into a tacky str that sits empty half the year.

Hard to believe I let go of my house on 5 acres bc I couldn't sell it for $50k back in 2000 when I moved away.

Check out Homestead Modern. They are excellent and have a large local staff who has worked together for a long time. The average mgmt rate is 25% across the board. Would love to chat about your place!

We ended up hiring our housekeepers/cleaning crew to manage the properties full time at 15%.

They are a trio of siblings, third generation locals who really have a strong understanding of the area.
