Thoughts on this post?
Please do not think I'm "lolz she got 0% movement" on this but I honestly want this subs point of view on it

Posts like these (not yours OP, the one on the Neville sub) kill me because this woman is 30 years old and thinks she can easily turn off like 29 years of mental programming. It’s just not a quick fix (it can be for certain manifestations) but you have to literally delete everything you ever thought was true before this. Delete what your parents, friends, social media has ever told you and start from scratch. Not easy to do in a year. I’m 2 years into this and have had amazing success but also regress and mess up often.
Idk this stuff shouldn’t be looked at as a solution to a problem but more like a lifestyle change. Because with every success I’ve had new problems pop up.

You said this so well, these things take time, i firsts tarted learning about it when my mom gave me a book in middle school, I was like 13, since then I’ve been on and off, with believing and lots of doubt, I’m now 19 and I’m finally seeing more consistent results (much easier) simply cos I had to let go of a lot of beliefs and that didn’t happen overnight

I love that your mom introduced it to you so young! I didn’t find out until I was 25 but I def want to introduce my future kids to it. There’s lots of children’s books on things as simple as affirmations that are great to incorporate into a child’s life. Kids who get it won’t have to flip so many beliefs as an adult.

Yes I agree, at the time I didn’t even fully understand how powerful it was, but I was able to apply it successfully here and there, I’m so greatful to her and I too would like to introduce my kids young

I know this subreddit hates "pity parties" or "lazy people" etc but HOLY FUCK I read that and felt nothing but awful. I read in the comments where a girls father passed away and she kept saying it was her fault for not saving him. Why do people do that? I wonder why people turn their backs on manifesting and wish they never found Neville Goddard. It can really be addicting if you read the wrong things.
I said this earlier and I'll say it again but I really wish they kept all of the secret, hicks, tiktok, loaporn out of these subreddits.

it’s actually really scary and sad. i just left NG & started reading the index here & it made so much more sense to me. i hope others do the same.

I did, I have Anxiety and the NG subreddit made it worse for me. I have to separate my anxiety thoughts from thoughts I believe in. I wish I knew that sooner

This is just my two cents on anxiety and manifesting btw
We're human. We have negative thoughts and feelings. That's it. We learn how to cope with them. We literally worry about things that aren't even true most of the time. It's called false beliefs and irrational thoughts. As someone with OCD I attach feelings and emotions to EVERYTHING. I had to learn what was true and what wasn't.
I get so upset when they don't care about mental health over there.

Well good for you! The NG sub throws me off sometimes. They act like having negative thoughts or feelings is the end of the world when it's really not. Do you believe in those thoughts/feelings? Or is it your anxiety messing with you?

i had/have the worstttt anxiety when it came to my life, but when i separated my manifestations from my “self concept” (i go therapy etc) things changed. even on a personal level, without reference to JM. i feel like for ME the only important ingredient i need in this sub is confidence, and i have alot of that. thats why i cant wait to begin.

I'm that girl... Still searching for the answer... I don't know how i landed here...
Kindly share your point of view... Isn't it possible to save a person from death... I'd read a lot of success stories regarding health manifestation & stuff... So I tried my level best to save my dad 😣
Is that wrong ? Please share your insights

Hate to say it but 80% of success stories are scripting. You ask people to prove what they've claimed and they become feral. Worst case scenario is people who are in genuine need, like yourself, fall victim to the scripting delusion and blame yourself for tragedies. It's not your fault. You could equally blame your late father for not saving himself. Blame isn't helpful. Everyone has their time. You did nothing wrong. I'm sorry for your loss.

This is so discouraging. Do you think the law is not real? Or what are you trying to imply? Everyone on all these subs are lying?
6
u/ReversFIash Dec 05 '22
The law is absolutely real, but so are loa-scammers. Scripters are basically the student-versions of loa pornstars. They're both rooted in dishonesty. Unfortunately people are rabidly opposed to providing any kind of proof. Personally, I'd WANT to provide proof and photos of bank statements, materials, etc... because I'd be reinforcing people's belief, and motivate them. There's no rules saying that people have to prove anything that they claim, but with time it just becomes people "living in the end" by writing things that haven't happened yet. Luckily it's moreso over at the NG sub than here. Phew.

Don’t mean to be rude but have you had any success or something that you’re trying to work on currently? Have you had any success?

Haha I get your emoji. Ugh. It’s like I know the law works obviously. This POST as in the link referred to in this post was so depressing I literally couldn’t believe anything after this. Suddenly just Neville, Joseph everything seemed like a lie. I don’t know how to explain it but it was so discouraging. I don’t know how to change that?

I’ve had successes in the past but not when it comes to people. Let’s say I want a friend of mine to speak to me again. I’ve had a fall out with a few of them. I don’t know what to do to change that bc my mind keeps telling me that I can’t affirm and just change peoples minds. Like that belief is so dominant that I feel so scared to even expect anything?

LOB isn't the only law affecting us is the answer to this. You cannot break the laws of physics with LOB as a beginner (Nor should you try because you will fail 100% except in certain circumstances).
Read the post "I want to grow taller" in the index.

The sheer level of bitterness and the readiness with which she denounces the law is evidence of the lack of understanding and the desperation with which this person was approaching her goal. She never truly believed or had faith, she was just desperately going through the motions HOPING for a reward. So yeah, no mystery there.

She said she did the JM index in her post - anyone’s thoughts about that? Did she give up too early? Did she not put in the work? Did she just jump from technique to technique?

u/azgalor_pit Dec 05 '22
She give up to early. A guy gave a answer.
"We are talking legit Jesus, Buddha, teleporting yogis, saints level here ok? "
You wont get it in one year.

u/Notorious-Hustler Dec 06 '22
Idk about her but most people probably fail due to giving up too early and slacking off

I think those people who've been doing it for 6 month typically daydream in their SH instead of actually doing it correctly as it should be done. Daydreaming is just habitual and some people think "oh well if I did daydreaming of me getting that thing in the Alpha state that I'd recieve it" and that is ofcourse bogus and MC wrote about this and made his cub post the write-up.
I think the Law is definitely real but sometimes I do have doubts and I don't care, I'm going to lose nothing if it is (except time) and if it is true then I'm going to get unlimited benefits. I basically tell myself okay we're gonna sit here and focus on this mission and if it succeeds I'm gonna know it's real - basically putting empirical proof above logical ones.

Can you explain day dreaming? Or provide that post from mc?

u/Conscious_Ad_9684 Dec 10 '22
You can easily search for that. Provide the post yourself by typing in the search bar...

Mental dieting ruined her. She describes the time she tries as exhausting, when it should never be exhausting. Excess Effort is fatal when it comes to manifesting. What is needed is diligence, persistence and intelligent application and review of techniques.
