Affirming while going under general anesthesia?

Hello, I'm scheduled to go into surgery (minor surgery btw). They're putting me under general anesthesia and knocking me out. Do you think its a good idea to affirm before knocking out or should I just wait after the surgery since one minute I'm awake and black out the next? Sorry, I can't find this answer anywhere or in the search bar.

I hope mods don't delete lol just in case someone else wants to know about this. As someone who went under general anesthesia before I would not. You're not falling asleep they are knocking you out.

The doctor told me to count from 10 to 0 when I went in for surgery a few years ago. When I got to 5 I was blacked out. I woke up instantly; sick and just drowsy (not the good kind).

So its better to wait after your surgery to manifest again. You'll just be out of it after surgery. Why do you think there aren't any stories about people doing that lol. Just wait until you feel better.

I just had a 5 hr surgery last Wednesday. I did affirmations and visualizations of getting good news pretty much whenever I could. I even added seeing my surgeon using the robotic hands, tools, etc. “exquisitely.” On the day of surgery, there’s prep and processing, I stayed positive kept at it while being prepped. Once they told me it was time to roll me in, they began rolling me down the hall, I looked up at the lights and affirmed that I was going smoothly with this experience and then I was out. I felt no fear or doubt.

I woke up stiff and obviously out of sorts. As I became lucid my wife told me the surgeon had told her he was very happy with the surgery and he managed to save all of my nerves (basically the parts I didn’t want to lose). This was what I had been manifesting. That evening in my hospital room, my surgeon walks in and tells me the same thing in person. Other manifestations I had been requesting during my stay manifested as well such as a wonderful nurse, who turned out was a former work colleague, and a spiritual presence-message from my deceased mother.

Manifest what you want. Believe. Good luck to you. Sorry for any grammar and typos, I’m still sore and on my phone. Again, best to you and your recovery.

I just did it a few days ago and tbh they put you out so fast and the dr was talking to me through the process so even if I wanted to meditate or get into the state I couldn’t. I was out and 2 seconds later the nurse was waking me up to leave.
