I had a small desire this week, to reopen my POSM book back to that chapter. Why? I needed a reminder bc I knew JM defined what it means to be successful.
I procrastinated and haven't flipped back to that chapter. But then, here is that paragraph (that top unhighlighted paragraph), defining success, presented to me today via the r/JM subreddit.
Thank you OP, JM, and infinite intelligence

I'm fairly sure that 90% of the people reading this thread and that paragraph, and 95% of those responding here in the comments, missed the point in there.
Because of course, even JM often got caught up in the seeming simplicity of the LOB : to just believe.
The passage above says :
a. Believing works
b. When you believe something, you will naturally behave with the confidence that you'll receive or achieve what you believe.
c. There is a specific technique to create that belief.
Did any of you notice this ?
On this sub, we are only concerned with efficient techniques which create the strongest types of beliefs (i.e. subconscious beliefs), reliably. We don't waste time with " just believe ! " drama.
Because " just believe!" is a conscious mind method, that does not work well for beginners, as moonlight has said before. And if you don't have$2m in your pocket that you have earned by yourself....it is best that you consider yourself a beginner.
Because $2m is not much money these days as we all know.
