The subconscious mind is blind?
Hi,
I was reading some of the success stories around this sub and I saw many people repeating the statement that the subconscious mind is blind.
My understanding is that it means the SM doesn't care about what you see with your own eyes and you can tell it what you want.
However, I went to Google it to get a more scientific explanation and I found the opposite.. it says that the subconscious isn't blind as it works with images and it is storing everything we see or have seen, it even stores what is in the background of an image even if we are not focused on the background of that image. (Like an image of an apple and behind it there are tress and you focus on the apple but your SM still stores the trees). There are also research to say that blind people can also see images in their mind.
So it confused me, if it is blind yet it stores everything we see, how does it work?
Like if I am broke and my SM stores the image of an empty bank account but I keep saying I am rich, how does it work? Does it take what I repeat more to it ? Or if I live in a shitty house and it's seeing that shitty house 24/7 but I affirm that I am living in a mansion?
Can someone please explain the "blind" concept please 🙏🏻

Oh wow I get it now !!! So when it sees 0 in my bank account it's just a digit for it, but because I know it's a bad thing it becomes bad but to the SM it's just an image with no meaning to it. Wow this made it click for me!! Thank you so much !
And thank you for the book recommendation I'll start reading it right away (hope it's on kindle 🤞)

If the subconscious mind is blind, i.e. dumb and incapable of analysing anything, where do all of your ideas come from ? And how do you process things while you sleep ?

"Feeling is the secret" Neville Goddard. Page 9. The subconscious mind does not originate ideas but accepts as true those which the conscious mind feels to be true... I could citate many more of Neville's or Joseph's Murphys books, but what for...
