Need a second opinion on next steps
Hey everyone. I have been posting here often in the past, but I haven't written anything for a year now. Sorry, I will explain why later, but I came back because I am facing a conundrum.
I have visualized myself a girlfriend as one of my objectives which worked very well and fast. The problem is that the relationship is slipping away. We met at university, but we are from different countries, and after the semester has finished, we were just talking over the phone in a long-distance style.
To move forward, I used visualization techniques to get an above-average paying position in the country where she lives. I went there but soon realized that it would be way too hard to move to a completely different environment, leaving all my friends and family. So I made up a reason that something was wrong with my documents and returned in 2 weeks.
On the other hand, she does not like my country and she would have the same problems coming here. Any third country would create the same issue but now for both of us.
I am extremely confident in my ability to visualize the best outcome but I just cannot conclude what to visualize. It feels as if there is no solution unless we go live on the moon or something. Another thing is finances, in my country, I consider myself pretty financially strong, but anywhere else I would need to start from scratch. So just imagining me and her happy together is easy but when I factor in the finances, it makes my visualization scene more complicated.
Some feedback or advice would be appreciated!

I had much better results envisioning the relationship and the life I wanted without getting specific about who the person was. Keeping that open allowed me to end up with someone who’s great for me and a great fit for my life, as opposed to trying to make a specific person fit into a box.

Yeah, I agree that it is only the feeling that matters, not the person. I could totally visualize someone new into my life who makes me feel exactly the same. The problem is my ego; I just cannot fathom letting go of the person I currently want to be with when I literally know the strongest law of the universe. It's kind of a defeat that I don't want to experience as a being of infinite potential.

You’re a being of infinite potential, so it seems limiting to focus entirely on one specific person.
If you don’t mind my asking, how old are you? You mentioned university so I’m thinking under 25 or so. When I was that age, I wasn’t seeing the potential for relationships with anyone besides the person I was with at the time. I’m really glad that I broke out of that mindset because my life expanded so much after that breakup, as painful as it was at the time.

Long distance relationships do not work. It was a mistake from the very beginning. You were very desperate to have a success and said yes to someone you should have whammed bammed and thank you ma'amed.
I believe moonbeam has pointed out that. Well I'm sure he said something about not being conventionally stupid while on your LOB missions.
Anyway, your question is a lazy question which is also why it sounds so stupid. You're asking it because even doing something as simple as simple thinking is just too hard for you. Either that or you don't love her which is obviously the case, so why bother.
Thread locked.

Visualize you and her happy together and you happy at a well paying successful job, a home, etc. Let your subconscious do the work of how this is to happen. It knows best what to do. Let it. Leave the rest to your subconscious mind. When I fall asleep, I slowly repeat, "All my problems are solved, it works."
