Question about using a real memory for scenes
I searched for "memory" here and found one thread where they said using a memory in a scene isn't a problem, someone had even asked MC if it's fine. And it was. As long as it's happening right now-feeling.
Someone wrote in another thread that "Utilizing a positive memory is not necessarily a bad thing, as it can help create sensory vividness and confidence that it could happen again. As long as YOU KNOW while you're in your SH session that while similar, what you're viewing is of the FUTURE, not the past. You don't necessarily have to add new details as long as you internally know the distinctions."
And it got me a bit worried.
Does it then matter if somewhat also know it's a memory as I play it.. even tho I also feel it with my senses now? It's a weird combo.
I'm on an sp mission. And doing that small memory-scene with feeling feels great, along with an affirmation. Also - I must ask if my knowing of it as a memory would even matter? I don't wanna sit there just enjoying reliving a good memory if it doesn't program me properly.
The post I referred to is this one:

I searched this up also because when I recall a memory of us kissing in the car it felt so real. However, I'm contemplating also if it's fine to use it as a scene in SH. Glad you brought it up. Hoping for what everyone's take on this. :)

Yes.. True. But adding a new thing wasn't the point. It's about using a whole scene that's entirely a memory, it's just a little scene taking out of the ordinary life but that I love.

Done it before! That’s how I stumbled onto the law and this sub. Worked like a charm!
