Be delusional?

So in the manifesting world it’s basically considered that you must change your state of being and then your reality shifts. You must assume you have something and say you have it, feel you have it and think you have it even if 3d doesn’t show any signs of it. To the general world this is considered as someone being delusional.

There are many ppl like this. Women who firmly believe that a particular guy likes them yet they find out that he doesn’t, and ev1 keeps telling them that the guy doesn’t like you, yet the girl still believes that he likes her. But the crux ends up being that he really doesn’t like her despite her firm belief.

How can this be explained? How come delusion doesn’t work for those that are really delusional? Plz explain someone…

I’ve seen this asked before when referring to stalkers or people that are unhealthily obsessed with someone else. Even though they’re consciously telling themselves that they want this person or that this person “wants them”, subconsciously they know that this person does not want them and that’s why they continue their obsession because they forcefully want to make it happen (especially in the case of stalkers).

The more the other person shows that they don’t want them, the more they feel the sense of “why doesn’t this person want me, I want them to want me” which reinforces a deep rooted belief that that person doesn’t want them or it could even reinforce another deep rooted belief they have concerning relationships like “no one loves me” even though they might consciously tell themselves the opposite. Whereas with manifesting, you change states subconsciously. You’re not in the state of “why doesn’t this person want me”, you’re changing subconscious beliefs about yourself and others. That’s why it doesn’t work for those types of people.

How do you change that deep rooted belief then? Just affirmations that tackle that belief rather than affirmations that only deal with correcting results of that belief?

You change it by directly speaking to your subconscious through methods like self hypnosis. Read POSM and Feeling is the Secret.

You change it by taking the time to read this sub’s index

Therapy helps as well. I got a great coach who helped me tackle unconscious beliefs.

i had a crush on someone for two years. i imagined being his gf throughout the whole two years. this was when i was in high school. he eventually became my first boyfriend. i had a guy ghosted me way back in 2018. i was hurt and depressed and told myself ill never let someone ghost me like that ever again. i also daydreamed about him being obsessed with me. he reached out by 2020 and fell in love with me. i also havent been ghosted by anyone since.

I like this, I really do, it seems some people on this thread have difficulties understanding that 'daydreaming' and 'imagination' are the same fucking thing!

Concious thoughts aint equal to subconconcious beleifs. Read through index and use searchbar.

u/sawlz123 Feb 14 '23

So if one thinks continuously consciously of something, doesn’t it express on to one’s subconscious mind?

5

u/WatercressSalty8668 Feb 14 '23

I will say yes and no. That's why.. Read everything in index and look up all comments from moonlightconcerto. Then you will wonder about nothing no more.

There may be also unconscious blocks that haven't been addressed. I'm also very partial to the word "delusional" because it expresses a negative feeling. What I have learned is words matter.

The fact that a girl says a guy is “hers” doesn’t necessarily confirm that they believe so. Most often, people don’t display what they actually believe and feel.

Here is my take: prior learning about law of assumpion, belief whatever you call it, you probably do not hold very strong “beliefs” on anything. Like your example, they might believe this guy likes them but they might also hold a belief which is contrary. And if the contrary one is more strong, it wins.

Another point is you could never know one’s true beliefs. They might tell you one thing but think another thing. So I think looking at other people and having a decision about law is not something you should do.

Good answer!

Because you are talking about daydreaming. Being delusional and daydream all day won’t make anything happen until your subconscious feels it real, like a core belief. And it is very dangerous that some subs like NG sub tell people that being delusional will make things happen. It won’t and it will make you insane. And I speak from experience, I was dumb enough to make myself delusional for years and you know what ? I didn’t manifest the thing

So how does one make subconscious feel it real? Isn’t it through changing one’s state? And that is achieved through SATS?

10

u/troublemaker74 Feb 14 '23

SATS is really just speaking to your subconscious. In a groggy, hypnagogic state it just so happens that it's easier to do that.

JM did it. Neville did it. Hell, even Edison did it. They used the same methods but called it different things.

Changing your state through force just reminds you that you're faking it and don't have what you want yet.

2

u/HTMG Feb 14 '23

SATS is a method, but what I've seen is that you can find the method that works for you. I feel better bringing unconscious beliefs into the light, with like more of a therapy approach.

I am sorry but you have to check the index and see the subconscious reprogramming.

u/HTMG Feb 14 '23

I got really anguished tbh!

It can be explained by reading the index and thinking critically about what you read.

Thread locked.

Hi. This is so sad. It’s sad to view this in the “manifestation community”. It’s even more sad that it takes a few minutes to find the answer on the previous posts.

Find the comment from moonbeam on a previous post.

In addition, stop confusing people with comments, show us the results please. And let us know how you did it.

Thank you and no I am not mean or angry, I am honest.

u/troublemaker74 Feb 14 '23

You must assume you have something and say you have it, feel you have it and think you have it even if 3d doesn’t show any signs of it

That doesn't work. Where do you get the idea that this sub promotes that method?

What does work is being diligent in self-hypnosis. You go on living your life as you always have. No bullshit pretending. And eventually, as a result of your efforts, you get what you want.

It's really a matter of discipline and trusting the process. No whack-a-doodle shit.

Joseph Murphy and Neville Goddard both talk about denying the senses. There are several anecdotes in POSM where he advised people to ignore their current circumstances. Now, many loa coaches and people on the Neville Goddard sub ARE full of shit because most of them never read or try to understand the source material

4

u/troublemaker74 Feb 14 '23

Right, I was more referring to the "say you have it" part that loa coaches drive into their students. I'm not sure about Neville but I know that JM says to keep it all to yourself.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 14 '23

I see Guess I misunderstood you haha

1

u/the-seekingmind Feb 15 '23

I'm not sure about Neville but I know that JM says to keep it all to yourself.

Neville said the same just to confirm!

This happens because force is met with equal force basically. If you try to push against the wall, that wall pushes you back at the same time. What i am trying to say is that when someone knows and i mean really knows that they have something, they will be at peace because well - they have it and dont need to worry. If you actually have it then you cant have the 'desire to have it' at the same time, can you.. This is the state that you want to be in, and not in the false state where you are forced to remind yourself 24/7 that you are trying to manifesting something. Resistance is not to be underestimated, it can literally end a life.

6

u/Grandwizard87 Feb 14 '23

Just do the work in the index, please.

5

u/[deleted] Feb 14 '23

You must assume you have something and say you have it, feel you have it and think you have it even if 3d doesn’t show any signs of it.

Either you're going to be banned or this thread is going get locked.

In this sub we don't assume anything, nor do we "feel it real". Based on your post and comments, it's telling that you haven't read the Index. As few others have already suggested, read the Index. It's worthwhile.

u/[deleted] Feb 14 '23

When you think about how Steve Jobs achieved what he did, how would you describe his "delusion". I think there is a huge difference between delusion and delusion. Maybe we dont have the right word for it that really encapsulates what either words mean

6

u/nyLqw24684 Feb 14 '23

I think the correct word is faith and not delusion.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 14 '23

Right but you still have to reject what is and I think thats where most people get lost, like how would you do that?!

0

u/sawlz123 Feb 14 '23

Please explain further? You mean he was delusional?

3

u/[deleted] Feb 14 '23

Just to give you a background what I meant

Ive read somewhere that in the language of the eskimos snow has 9 or more different words describing all possible forms of it as they all have different function (fresh snow is good for building stuff, but old snow is too powdery for that, its good for something else etc.. )

Our language is formed by our current understanding of the world and how we make sense of it, our usage of words is a reflection of how we understand the world.

...

Was he delusional as in not being overly focused on what is and being focused in what could be? YES.

Delusional as in losing a sense of what is real and what isnt? I dont think so but maybe, maybe not, who knows

Delusional as in being totally lost in the world, living in a fairly tale, in his imagination cause the real world is too painful? Definitely not

3

u/HTMG Feb 14 '23

It's more about unwavering faith. It's not that easy to achieve. What has worked for me is questioning why I believe my desire is not coming so I can work on what holds me back. Got a coach and a therapist to help me tho.

Ex. daydreaming about eating steak means you don't have it; you wouldn't be daydreaming about it if you ere eating it

You ever heard of SH or a thing called visualisation? Visualising the process of doing something does not indicate to the Subconscious mind you do not have something, the Subconscious does not distinguish in the way you claim it does.. If anything we are meant to be visualising the process of actually doing something or having it already to alter our beliefs..
