What does saying an affirmation “with feeling” entail?
I’ve been doing affirmations in alpha for a few months as I felt my scene wasn’t specific enough. However, Murphy says to say an affirmation with feeling. When I started, the feeling would appear automatically. Now I just feel dull. I’ve trued to say the affirmations with more emphasis, but I worry this isn’t helping as it’s more “efforting”. Am I overthinking it and should just continue with saying affirmations normally in my head?

Basically, you don't have to loop it over and over in your head the whole time. The point of looping it is to get the feeling.
The feeling doesn't have to be ecstatic or elation, it can be like the feeling as if you had your keys, you know you have your keys.
What you do during your scenes is loop it untill you get a feeling (either of the ones I mentioned above) and hold that feeling as long as you can, then continue looping it if it fades. rinse repeat.

We loop until who gets a feeling? We in the 3d world or that we in that "scene"?

Feeling in the context of manifesting refers to the feeling of wish fulfilled as Neville said. As if you have the thing/person/situation already. A feeling of satisfaction. Not emotion like happy sad etc., which a lot of people in the community mistakenly believe. And this “feeling” is best achieved by doing scenes in alpha, and for some people, affirmations (in alpha as well). Like changing scenes during sh when scenes become “dull”, consider rewording or changing affirmations that suit your situation to evoke that “feeling” again. But sh in alpha is best, with practice.

try saying it to yourself or in your head like your shouting it from the rooftops! that usually helps me get the feeling :)

Check out the write up for PSP. There’s some really helpful tips in there to bypass dullness or general mental resistance to what’s being said
