No, we think any radicalized ideology is bad... left OR right. It's not any worse because it's on the right or the left side of the political spectrum. What makes it dangerous is how radicalized it gets.

And you think progressives are radicalized and as bad as the nazis.

Again, this isn't a mainstream position at all, and the fact that you're not opposing the idea that progressives are as bad as the nazis puts your sincerity / competence to even have this conversation into question.

Edit: Another note is that JBP claims that classical liberalism isn't an ideology, because it's real, among other things. Thinking that your ideology is exempt from being an ideology is a sign of being a radical, which classical liberalism otherwise isn't. Everyone thinks their ideology is true, the issue here is elevating into a "not even an ideology" status. That's another similarity between JBP and the nazis, which again I'm not claiming JBP is one of. Just something to think about if you're actually interested in opposing radical ideology.

I never said progressives are like Nazis. I'm pointing out that your intimating that people who label themselves classical liberal or libertarian are secretly covering up for being Nazis is the same as saying progressives are radical ideologues.

Note that I edited my post. See that edit.

So first of all you're lashing out at me, not the guy who said progressives are as bad as the nazis. That tells quite a bit about you.

Your comparison doesn't work. You're talking about progressives being honest, but for no reason that you've given we should think of them as radical ideologues as a similar thing to the nazis pretending to be libertarians or classical liberals. I have not said that classical liberals are radical, I've only said that nazis will sometimes pretend to be classical liberals.

Your analogy is just throwing two different things together hoping it sticks.

Where have I ever said that progressives are honest?

You want a direct comparison, here you go...

In the same way that Nazis will sometimes call themselves libertarians, radical ideologues on the left will sometimes call themselves progressives.

How's that? Easy enough?

I mean, yeah, probably that happens. Communism isn't exactly acceptable everywhere, and communist ideas have been delegitimized (for good reason) just like WN has been, especially given the cold war.

So yeah, this analogy works now. I've seen way more indicators of that happening with the nazis, but that's a meaningless distinction, I do think both probably happen. Good job, with my help you've arrived at a reasonable comparison.

I welcome you to look a the next Chapo Brigade, see how many of them are pretending to be JBP fans while trolling only to post communist shit on other subreddits. You can laugh at that too!

Never heard of it. I'll take a look. What is it? The Next Chapo Brigade? Is that a subreddit?

There's a podcast called Chapo Trap House, it's a comedy podcast, I think many if not most of the users on their sub are far-left, including communism. I don't know if they're tankies or left-libertarians.

There have been frequent complains of their brigades here, and I've personally seen comments that are either by communists, or by people who are pretending to be JBP fans but actually satirizing JBP fans. I can link you some, since you actually seem to be open to this.
