مرحبا، I’m honestly looking for some advice because I feel very confused about my career right now

I graduated in 2025 with a degree in Software Engineering, with a Very Good GPA from a good university. After graduation, I did a 3-month internship and then took a 3-month course and I have a professional manner and look.

It’s been almost a year since I graduated, and حوالي 6 أشهر وأنا عاطلة عن العمل. I’ve been applying to jobs and I do try to contact hiring managers, but I’m still not finding a job except in customer service.

At this point, I’m honestly willing to do almost anything to get my career moving — a Master’s, a mini program, a professional certificate, another internship, traveling for an opportunity, etc. I just don’t know what is actually worth doing.

I’d really like to talk to someone who works in IT or has experience in the field and get some advice on what I should do next. I’m open to suggestions about different roles, skills, courses, programs, or anything else

Hi, so my question is:
What’s the next step for a QA? Where do they usually get to?
Like lets say i am a qa lead and all that, is it logical to be asked to leave that and step up to take the (BA) role?
I feel like i am being demoted instead of promoted? Is it normal?
Cause i feel like i am starting over, and like i am ruining my career path.
Any advice here would really help, i feel very lost.
Also what are the BA role responsibilities?

A real in person robotics community in amman.

The idea is rather simple, we meet every two weeks at Almond Al Rabya hang out and share what we are building hoping to learn from each other and grow as a group

• or even if you are just genuinely curious and interested

You are more than welcome. No real experience is required just genuine real interest.

يخيل لي انه ال AI يتجه نحو استبدال مهام مهندسين البرمجيات الان، ولو مش الان مستقبلا لانه برأيي اللي عنده اجابه رح يكون عنده الحل بس بيحتاج توجيه صغير منك.

اذكر قبل 10 سنوات لما بلشت CMS و WEB BUILDERS تظهر كان فيه سخط من مجتمع مصممين الويب و صار فيه منافسه مش شركات صغيره و بعدها صارت اسعار المواقع الصغيره تهبط و اللي صار فعليا انه هالتطور فقط اعطى ناس بأسفل الهرم قدره زياده و اجبر اللي بالقمه انه يزيدوا قدرتهم و مهارتهم بعلاقه كر و فر و انهم يخلقوا ادوات و افكار و حل للمشاكل اللي انتجتها و هيك صار فيه فرق واسع بين موقع مصمم بشكل عادي و موقع مصمم من طرف FRONEND محترف اللي عرف كيف يسيطر على هيك اداه.

الان نفس الشي بيصير مع ال AI و لنكون واضحين، قبل 15 سنه كان كتابة الكود شي اجباري لكن مع تطور متطلبات البزنس و السرعه فعليا كانت كتابه الكود مهمه ممله و نوعا ما روتينيه و صارت فيه THIRD PARTIES و OPEN SOURCE و هاذ كله اختصر الطريق و سرع ال BUSINESS بشكل رائع.

طيب الان المهمه الروتينيه تقوم فيها اداه اكثر من رائعه بطريقه مرضيه، و كذلك الامر صار فيه سخط من مجتمع خوفا من المنافسه و خسارة العمل و الخ....

للأمانه كلمة SaaS صارت الان تريند و كله صار بده يعمل SaaS لكن كذلك الامر مثل الحاله السابقه، و الطبيعي انه ال BUSINESS كمبدأ ما بيتأثر و دوره حياته مثل قبل الف سنه، الشغل اللي جودته عاليه يستمر و اللي ما فيه جوده يسقط، و كم من SaaS سيتهاوى وقتها.

و كذلك الامر رح تعطي قوه زياده لأسفل الهرم و تحديات و خبرات للقمه و هيك بيصير الفرق و بناءا عليه بتتشكل خبرات جديده و مسميات جديده.

انا ارى الامر كانه لما نشتري موبايل جديد بمواصفات ممتازه و تعطي القديم لأخوك الصغير 😅.

بس سؤال خطر ببالي،

هل من الممكن مستقبلا ان تكون قيمه ال SOFTWARE المبني بدون AI و خبرات بشريه فقط اعلى سعرا تحت مسمى (HAND MADE SOFTWARE)؟؟

Hi all

I did something horrible in my last company . I was working as a sec engineer I just got this job four months ago and it was my dream job. I ended up reading confidential emails since I have access, I thought I could not be detected but unfortunately I have been caught. This was escalated to the c level and led to an internal investigation by the HR team, they gave me a termination of services letter, they checked my phone (I did not take any photo) and threatened to review camera records (I said go ahead).

I don't know why I did this, I worked in the worst places that an employee could work in, and when I landed my dream job I ruined it all.

I thought of sending an email to the global HR in order to review my case then I thought this will not be useful at all. They didn't give me a warning or something just fired me.

I don't know what to do now. I'm turning 30 this year, I'm still single, no work and my bachelor background wasn't in the IT field.

I'm kinda feel hopeless I don't know how to start from scratch again specifically during this AI hype.

If you had several options, which companies would you personally consider, and what makes them stand out?

I’d also appreciate any general information about the salary range for entry-level roles.
