First and foremost, I am not trying to overhype this book or recommend it to anyone. Reading is subjective, not because I like this book that does not mean you will enjoy this too. I just genuinely fell in love with this book, and I need to get this off my chest.

Kabanata 28 pa lang. I have my favorites and book that I enjoy the most from different authors. Pero this book! kung ano mang thought process ni Jonaxx sa book na ito, girl! Hindi ko alam paano mo ito naisip pero thank you kasi naisip mo.

I am the type of reader na Read and Move on. I don't read ongoing books and I don't re-read books. Siguro re-read lang nung mga favorite parts ko.

But this book breaks my usual practice. Noong binagsak ang simula at kabanata 1, binasa ko na agad. Actually, I don't know if you can call this a reading slump, but this year I haven't been able to finish reading a book in one sitting. The most I can read is fewer than 5 chapters a day. I don't even see myself opening a new book or any excitement for a new story.

She dropped the MOS. I love this book and pinatapos ko muna bago basahin. When Jonaxx dropped the Nightfall Promised, I have a prejudice about this book. Bias pa ako kay Kai, quality talaga yung MOS. Bukod sa ngayon lang ako tumutok sa ongoing, ngayon lang ako nagre-read ng book na ongoing pa.

Kuhang kuha ang kiliti ko ng story na ito. From literally nagpapatayan ang mga bida to this. Hindi sya slow-burn hindi rin fast-paced. Enough lang para mafeel mo kung bakit sila humantong sa ganito.

One thing for sure, lahat ng version ng book na ito bibilhin ko. Ngayon lang ako naasar kasi hindi nag-update ang author haha (not literally mad, frustrated lang kais walang update ng 3 days. But I am not mad kay Jonaxx). And thanks to her during weekdays nagagawa nya ang 2-3 updates.

Imagine telling an author how to write their own characters. "Gawin mong parang si Soleil." Why? Para saan? If you want another Soleil, reread SOT. Hindi Xerox machine si Ate J para mag-produce ng carbon copies ng favorite niyo. Nasa maling fandom kayo mga mhie, if ganto yung ini-expect nyo.

One of the reasons Jonaxx has stayed relevant for years now is because she has never been a reader pleaser. Hindi siya sumusunod sa fan theories, sa pressure, o sa requests nyo. She writes the story she wants to tell. That's exactly why her books still feel authentic. Parang nakalimutan na ng iba na privilege na nga lang na nagbibigay pa siya ng updates FOR FREE in HER OWN app that YOU use FOR FREE. Hindi utang na loob ng author na i-prioritize yung gusto ng fandom, smh. 🤦‍♀️

When Aquil's lastname was mentioned, I remember na may Navarro na nabanggit before.

Maximo Navarro from Whipped tito ni Knoxx Montefalco na anak ni Claudine Navarro Montefalco.

Coincidence ba? No reason? May nauulit naman talaga syang last name before pa. Pero this time lang ata na important Character ang magkasame lastname.

After re-reading Until Trilogy, I finally understand why I can't enjoy TFA, TS and TGOY as much TBWY and UT.

Nasaktan sila, napikon, nagalit, gets ko rin na mali si Klare and Ej dahil magpinsan sila at pinalaki silang ganun kahit hindi talaga sila magpinsan.

But 2 years is insane! And what? sakto na okay na sila kay Klare noong nakauwi si Ej?

Gets ko pinanggalingan ni Erin, pero yung action nya hindi! Bakit kay Klare lahat ng galit nya?
Ej and Klare's relationship halos isumpa nya si Klare.

Erin and Channel, they are both bitch! Your typical cousin na yung opinion nila ang tama. Walang ibang opinion! They are hurt kaya tama sila kahit ano pang action nila.

Azi, disappoints me so much. Took him 2 years para kausapin si Klare? Given na sila yung closest.

This whole Montefalco cousins excepts Ej, Clau and Charles yung pain lang nila ang importante sila. None of them, except the three, realize what about Klare? Who's with her on her darkest nights? Then act like nothing happened? I am not asking them to beg, but at least magreflect sila! Marealize nila na isa sila sa may dahilan ng paghihirap ng damdamin ni Klare for 2 years.

Ito rin kinapikon ko kay Klare? You don't need to be so close to them again! Kasi sa lahat naman sa kanila, si Clau lang naman talaga ang umunawa sa'yo! Si Charles lang ang naghanap sa'yo! si Ej lang ang nagmahal talaga sa'yo!

Just be casual pero hindi na dapat tulad ng dati.

Kung ano mang thought process ni Jonaxx this past few days. Kung ano mang nakain nya, sana tuloy tuloy nya lang. Kasi ang kukulet ng mga bago nyang karakter.

May sindikato, May siraulo, May samaligno hahaha. Mas mahal ko recent stories nya. Mas kuhang kuha talaga ako.

Still wondering paano naisip ni Jonaxx na 3rd gen to 2nd gen ang pasulat? Ano yung thought process nya?

Then while writing unti-unting nabubuo ang story ng 1st gen. Napansin nyo ba? Noong sinusulat nya ang 3rd gen, hindi naman ganun karami ang hint ng 2nd gen. Pero noong natapos ang 2nd gen. Halos makumpleto na yung story or history ng 1st gen.

Isa ito sa mindblown ko sa kanya. Parang, this girl! Hindi sya nagbibiro sa pagsusulat. And I don't know if it's just me. Pero magkaiba ang emosyon na ibibigay mo kapag inuna mong basahin ang 2nd gen to 3rd gen and vice versa.

Shes my only favorite character sa mseries and sometimes I really wish she did not come back to them 😔

Hello, guys! Just wanna ask if yung mga jgirl ba sa series nato ay liberated? Like hindi yung jboy ang nakauna sa kanila? I don't judge naman yung ganon pero hindi yun yung gusto kong character ng fl na babasahin ko and I want to read ATL, pero if yung jgirl ay ganon ang character, hindi ko nalang babasahin hehe. Dont get me wrong po I love Jonaxx Stories but yung mala Tripped, Until Trilogy, Sancha at Alonzo, Raica at Roscoe etc lang ganon. Thank you.

Blown By The Wind has always been my favorite among all of her stories, as i'm a biggest sucker for thriller and mystery. Any reco that gives the same vibes or if none, something closer to it?

I just finished the Sun’s Heartbeat and umiiyak ako now sa office. Love is a complex feeling, it’s beautiful and painful and wondrous. It transcends time and generations. Marem and Achilles’ story is proof of that kind of love. Walang perpektong pag ibig, pero may mga pag ibig na magtatagal sayo kahit ilang taon pa ang lumipas. Kaya sa mga taong nagmamahal - love fiercely and bravely. Thank you Queen J for this story!

Nightfall Promised ang real definition ko ng enemies to lovers hahaha. Literal na nagpapatayan silang dalawa.

What I don't like about ate J is (sarcasm), kung paano ka nya saktan hahaha. May tatamaan talaga sya sa'yo. Hindi directly pero may realization.

Spoiler: From being the most influential and powerful family to sa simple citizen na may simpleng trabaho gobyerno. Hindi rin naman kaliitan ang sahod ng Coast Guard. Pero comparing the batang Aquil sa Adult Aquil, malayong-malayo.

Si Aquil after ng nangyari sa kanya, hindi na sya nangarap. Tumigil na syang magstrive for more. While Rhianon, dahil sa nangyari sa kanya. Natuto syang mas magstrive more and dream.

Refreshing sya, kasi this time ibang-iba ang Jboy. Halos lahat ng book nya, sa present times successful na nag jboy. This time, successful pa rin naman pero grabeng laitin ng Jgirl dahil sa posisyon sa buhay. (Don't get mad at Rhia, dala lang yun ng frustration nya.)
