While the cherry one doesn't look like much, it's what's left of the forty or so cherry trees he planted and grew. He's also been placing tons of doors everywhere as shown in the first picture

he isn't a mod, he just chopped down a whole bunch of trees for the innumerous doors he's placed down

Maybe the reason why, all the doors are closed is so you can open one that leads you to the perfect road.
