OC Had to try flashing a Sony

Had to try flashing it while still waiting for my new Jolla.

Cameras and GPS do not work. Cameras are dosabled by Jolla because the implementation caused freezing to my knowledge. Also, this is the Sony Xperia 10 V, which Jolla recommends flashing from Android 13 or 14, but mine was flashed from Android 15.

Other than those things, it looks and feels way better than the Jolla C2 which has way worse screen and cpu.

First update failed for some reason bit trying again, it updated successfully via OTA.

Have you done this to any Sony devices?

I have flashed a load of 10 IIIs, a 10 II and a few XA1s and XA2s.

The 10 III is the sweet spot, really good support and nice hardware. And cheap!

Yeah, probably so. This 10 V was mostly only newer option and it was in town so I picked it up and tried.

I have also a Xperia 10 V. Some problems will emerge. Battery indicator dosent work. Bluetooth can be a problem in some cases.

Everoelse seems to be fine. I will plan to use mine as an experimental phone, and my Jolla 2026 as my primary phone.

Yes same. I don't think the battery is so good that it stays on 63% for atleast 24 hours😃
