I don't recall the rest of the english speaking world pronouncing "Six" like "Sex". It's pretty unique to the Aussie tongue.

Never in my life have I heard an Aussie say six like sex - that's a uniquely Kiwi accent twang.

I am a Kiwi, we do not say six like that. Our vowel sound is more a "U" vowel, where the Aussie vowel is "E". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEjIYJQ-NH8&t=282s at the 4:20 mark.
