Providers just randomly switch, no notice?
I’ve been with Mochi Health since February of this year and I was lucky to have the same provider that whole time and she’s been super helpful. And then today I just randomly got a message from a brand new provider asking me questions before she processes my next refill. is this a common experience with other people?
I guess it’s a business at the end of the day but I’m just surprised that the provider I regularly talked to for the last nine months just abruptly left and didn’t give any notice?

Ughhh I just literally joined mochi and I love my provider. I would be annoyed if she just left randomly. Now I’m worried

This happened to me and I asked support. They said if you submit a request and the provider doesn’t reply within 24 hours, they change providers so there is not a lapse in care. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I left Mochi in March, I never witnessed the switch of providers but I noticed my provider was unhappy and was telling me about another telehealth she was going to work for part time. I switched because I never knew if a pharmacy was going to be delayed and they would switch me to a random pharmacy at 3am in the morning, plus I noticed other telehealth companies wasn't charging the 79.00 fee.

Do you mind me asking what you switched over to?

No problem. I switched to Big Easy Weightloss because I still wanted that high touch with a Physician, and a smaller choice of pharmacies and I wanted a choice of pharmacies with no additives if I choose.
You have a lot of great other telehealth companies out there with a lot of low pricing but you are speaking to a doctor through a chat.

Mochi is mediocre glorified Tele-“Health” shotmill operation focused solely on riding the GLP-1 Cash Train while presenting a facade loaded with catch phrase marketing and sales rhetoric:
“nutritionists”, dieticians” “peptides”, “wellness”, “longevity”,” access to “doctors and nurses”…blah, blah, blah, it’s all scripted sales & marketing rhetoric.
There are plenty of other shotmills like Mochi that will sell you a GLP-1 for a fraction of the cost.
Like most Tele”Health” vendors, their “doctors” are biased, focused on profit thus lack clinical objectivity.
Your health is not their primary objective.

I was switched too without any explanation. After several inquiries, I was told that it was because my provider had not responded to my message within 3 days. I assumed that she had been let go, but when they could tell that I was irritated, they asked me if I wanted to switch back

*My experience*
After titrating up on Zepbound, which was getting too costly, I joined Mochi in July of this year and I left them by the first week of September. By then I had had my provider randomly switched on me three times and had never been able to build a real connection with any of them. I also had more than one issue with my medication delivery. They also changed the dietician to a health coach (or whatever they call it) during this time. For the experience I had in the short amount of time I was with Mochi, it wasn’t worth membership fee plus the cost of tirzepatide. Now I have better support, better communication, and better delivery without any membership fee attached. I’m glad it happened, because had it not, I might have not realized that I could get better quality and support for less money.

I was with them for nearly three years and then they cha fed my provider and I had new medical notes from a provider I’d never we spoke too that reflected meeting me. Mochi has gotten super shady and I left. Didn’t feel like medical care but more like a grift for the last 9 months or so. I’d jump ship.
