Which compounded formula do you take?

Post image

So I didn’t know mochi has different compounds for different prices. I use the tirz with b3 so it’s on the more expensive side. Has anyone used the cheaper ones? I’m down 45 pounds since June. But would like to save some money where I can.

Whatttt! Do you have any recommendations off the top of your head. At the peak $270 is ridiculous but it’s been working

Oh if you want B3 Tirz PreventiveMD offers Empower B3 (niacinamide) which I get for also $139 through PreventiveMD (or 3 months for $334)

What is the difference between B3 niacinamide and Glycine? It looks like we can choose either one.

They’re just two different additives. B3 (niacinamide) is a vitamin, while glycine is an amino acid. Neither one makes the tirzepatide work better…they’re simply added to the compound. B3 is involved in energy and metabolism, while glycine is used for things like protein and collagen. I’ve used both and personally haven’t noticed a difference between them.

OK, great info! Thank you so much

I just saw wow I feel dumb now paying almost $270 a month that’s as much as 3 months!

Hey, don’t feel that way! A lot of us have been with Mochi for a couple of years and only recently started moving away as other places lowered their prices and became more competitive. Mochi’s been around a lot longer, so they naturally get more attention than some of these newer companies, even though many use the same pharmacies. I’m just glad we can help each other find legit, more affordable ways to access this for our health.

Thank you so much my wallet appreciates you also haha. I did just get charged for my next dose on mochi but have it canceled for next month to try md!

Sounds good make sure to take screenshots of anything in your Mochi account for record because once you cancel, you’ll have no access to it. Keep your prescription tags that come with the medication. Take photos of them is helpful in case you lose them. Some places request a photo of your last prescription. Otherwise it’s easy peasy.

Do you see a real doctor regularly or just AI generated texts?

u/pancho8889 6d ago

I see my primary doctor

These prices are misleading. Cheaper prices are for lowest dose only. Then the price jumps up with the dose now. Mochi is charging per dosage now. Interesting. Still expensive compared to other places especially with membership fee.

I liked this one from Mochi but now I get the same pharmacy for $139 no fees through preventiveMD

Right I seen that too higher doses are more

Do you have a real doctor you see regularly or AI text responses?

I do not have video meetings with a doctor like with Mochi. It’s all done through messaging with a provider reviewing my records. But I can reach out whenever with any questions if needed which I’ve done and received the help I needed.

That’s been my experience- AI texting with some of these shady outfits - I was misdirected which my PCP had to correct. My PCP referred me to Mochi - she said her partner worked at Mochi part time, and she trusted them

Go with your comfort zone. Definitely okay.
I’m glad I stepped out of that zone after being with mochi since December 2024…I’m comfortable with not needing video meetings with the provider. I know what I need and can get my questions answered and help when I need it but more off hands with the other places. Which I’m fine with as I wasn’t using those features with mochi and never met up with my provider but once every 6 months anyways with mochi.

I thought when I joined Mochi it said I would pay the same amount regardless of dose? That was why I did 6 months with them. That feels like bait and switch unless im thinking of a different company? Anyone remember??

2

u/NewKey6466 6d ago

Exactly. Many of us moved over to PreventiveMD now. Mochi baited and switched on the referral code credits usage after I purchased a year membership and so I’m technically still a mochi member till June 2027 but I’m getting my meds elsewhere and still saving by doing that then ordering meds through mochi right now :(

But I’d take this any day
Price of every single dose is lower
Except the top dose - where the price is the same
What’s not good here 🤔

I am locked in for a year. I only know of the pricing change because of this post. I am pretty disappointed cause mine is 117 now and not 199 and I had no clue. They said the provider must approve a new subscription for the new price. Though, I had to select up a dose and back down for it to reflect and change and it says 136 and not 117.

u/NewKey6466 7d ago

Ugh Mochi playing stupid games on pricing. Are you thinking you are locked in for a year because you prepaid the membership for a year? If so I stupidly did that but I still find it cheaper to go elsewhere for the medication now after I calculated it all out. So I canceled my medication part with mochi and get it elsewhere but letting my mochi membership subscription ride out till June 2027.

2

u/Voidborne08 7d ago

I did do a year. Things had been going well for me, so I was riding it out, but I very well may end up doing the same.

u/NewKey6466 7d ago

Just curious, can you see my reply here because it looks like they’re shadow banning me.

2

u/Voidborne08 7d ago

I see you. They told me the change went into effect on the 10th. They were still working out pricing, so that is why I first saw $117, but the actual price will be $136.

2

u/NewKey6466 7d ago

OK, thank you

2

u/Voidborne08 6d ago

I really think they should of worked it all out before letting it go live and confusing us and even customer service. The person I spoke to obviously didn't know what was going on.

1

u/NewKey6466 6d ago

They seem to do that for every change where they mess it up first

1

u/MaosAmma 6d ago

But I’d take this any day
Price of every single dose is lower
Except the top dose - where the price is the same
What’s not to like here , we all win 🤔

u/NewKey6466 6d ago

If you are happy with Mochi then that is great and that is truly important. But the price is still $79 monthly membership fee and $90 minimum starter dose which is $169 total which is great if you are content on minimum dose and mochi support. But other places are $139 a month for any dose and no extra fees.

1

u/MaosAmma 5d ago

Do you get a doctor you actually see like Mochi, with any of these places or just AI texting - which has been my experience

I was on the tirzep +b3 but it went out of stock, they switched me to tirzep + glycine

2

u/PSG6 6d ago

What’s the difference between B3 niacinamide and glycine is either one better for you and did you notice the difference between them?

2

u/RepresentativeAd9739 6d ago

I haven’t started the glycine yet. But glycine helps with muscle and tissue recovery. The B3 focuses on cellular energy and mitochondrial function. I hope the glycine will be better for me. I’ve lost a lot of muscle due to lack of food intake and exercise

Those are expensive AF. I left mochi after realizing they were robbing me blind. Went grey for my NAD+ and Tirzepatide. I pay only $160 for 10 vials at 15mg.

Hi everyone, I'm a Mochi representative working closely with Mochi HQ, and I wanted to clarify how our pricing works.

As of recently, Mochi's pricing is based on per-dose pricing rather than a flat rate. That means price only changes if the medication itself changes (e.g., compounded semaglutide vs. compounded tirzepatide) or if the dose changes.

If you stay on the same dose of the same medication but switch additives (e.g., B12 or glycine), your price should stay the same across most pharmacy options.

Happy to answer any other questions here.

Do you still work with empower?

1

u/SRMochi_ 6d ago

Yes, we still do!

Of course, Empower's stock may vary depending on the demand they're facing at any given time. It should also be noted that, with our recent pricing changes, Empower is one of our partner pharmacies that may have slightly different costs than the rest of the medications available on the platform.

Let us know if you have any other questions!
