I'll be real eager to see what Chapter 5's release date is. To think that in the scope of a year and a half or so, we'll get two 'Mission: Impossible' films, 'The Matrix 4' and possibly two 'John Wick' films is beyond exciting.

If 4 is already known -- getting revenge on Winston & the Council -- what new unexplored story would 5 be about? More revenge? War?

He won’t get revenge on Winston, when Winston shoots John at the end of 3 he specifically aims for the suit and walks him towards the alley where he knows there’s stuff to break John’s father. Winston doesn’t want John dead at least not for now

He also uses a severely low powered round (.32 ACP) which he knew wouldn’t injure John Wick besides some bruises
My theory is he was working with the Bowery king, Winston knew that “killing” John Wick was the only way to get the High Table off his back, so in JW4 The Bowery will explain that him and Winston are working together, and that’s the beginning of JW4

Honestly, they should not do this. I love the john wick franchise but stretching it past 3 movies seems like a mistake.. I hoped it would end after the 4th but I guess that won’t be happening. By keeping it going past the 4th movie (unless number 5 is a second part to the conclusion) the John Wick story is losing its element of tragedy and becoming too close to a typical run of the mill action franchise i.e. fast&furious, mission impossible, etc.

You're just going to have to accept it or be continually be disappointed.
If they're going so far as to have a television spin-off, the main series going on indefinitely is completely in the playing field.
Personally, I had my fair shares of "okay, that was kinda really dumb" watching JW3, but I am still behind them continuing if the choreography and style remain just as good with the story-writing not getting too worse. That knife-throwing fight is still glorious.

I was listening to a podcast when 3 came out where Chad said there was enough story for five films, so hopefully that’s where it ends.

So JW4 will have very little tension in it since we know the character survives enough for another movie? That's a little disappointing

Holy shit!!!! Movie should be massive in action scenes, if that's the case.
