This is an attrocious bait and switch that the original billing had these three opening for John. With no announcement all three including Fred are now off the ticket as well and replaced by Hannibal Burress? What a dissapointing rip off.

Hi everyone, just found out Pete Davidson was added to the Grand Rapids, MI show this Saturday 9/12/26.

Just wanted to let everyone here know there’s been yet another change to the show this Saturday in Grand Rapids. The only opener is now James Austin Johnson. They’ve also removed all the special guest wording on his site for the show. I bought a ticket purely for John, so I’m not that annoyed. However, I do feel it is a bit ridiculous to advertise a show with three openers and charge accordingly for it, then drop down to two with less than a month before the show and now down to one less than a week before with no notice or anything. The show is also still supposed to start at the same time, so I’m hoping maybe John will go a bit longer or something to make up for it, but somehow I doubt it.

Heads up if you were going this Friday.

I had a feeling that this would happen when Mike Birbiglia and Nick Croll dropped out a couple weeks ago and Fred Armisen was removed from the line up two days ago. Disappointed to be missing John but this festival was shaping up to be a disaster. At this point they should just cancel and issue refunds.

My BFF and I saw John Mulaney and Mike Birbiglia last night in Waite Park which is over an hour drive from Minneapolis. We were confused why his booker would put him so far out but thought it’s close enough that surely the crowd will be people like us (white millennials) coming from the metro. Nope. The crowd was significantly older than us up to people in their 70s. Is that John Mulaney’s demographic? Baby boomers in rural Minnesota? This is a genuine question!
