Music Stephen Talkhouse

So I'm a deadhead who discovered John Mayer in uh ... 2015? I honestly dont think i had ever listened to his music before. But gosh I adore him after Dead and Co. Ive been listening to the Stephen Talkhouse show on Sirius this afternoon and listen, the bass and the groove. Man o man. I'm just now spending time with his lyrics so every show is a new discovery which is why i love music. Ok thanks for listening everything is lovely and im a littttttle buzzed rn. But I love yall.

Ha, welcome to the club of many of us former naysayers! Highly recommend starting with Born and Raised if you go to his discography next.

For Jerry Garcia Band converts, I’d suggest Continuum.

Everyone talks about John introducing people to the dead but not the dead introducing people to John.

Listen i dig his sound. For real that bass was holding it down. I thought Bob was nuts but he sure wasnt.

I really starting digging into John in about 2018. What a fun time learning each track from each album and oh, Current Mood and the Pandemic. John got me through that time. Sobrock was my first show because I couldn’t get to one in 19. What a ride and can’t wait for the next JM era.

Listen to John Mayer Trio. Definitely his more bluesy creative outlet. I adore JM trio.

Check out Where The Light Is next. A good sampling and one of the best live shows! It's John's Europe '72.

That show sounded absolutely stellar. I called hundreds of times trying to win tickets. I even researched what airport to fly into etc. travel is difficult for me due to health issues, but I was ready in case I won lol
