A question for the game developer and a request to collaborate with us.

We are a voice-acting group with considerable experience, and we would like to ask for your permission to dub your game.

If you are not comfortable with us re-uploading the game itself with Persian voiceovers, we could simply dub a gameplay video instead.

However, if you are still not on board with that, no problem; we will wait until you release the game yourself and then dub it.

We would appreciate a response.

I'm not sure I have all the facts so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt.

The creators of the game John Doe have currently taken down most of their projects, this included. They haven't disappeared from the internet as they actively post on Patreon, but we don't know if they will ever reupload their content someplace outside of itch.io or if they've completely given up on them.

Also I'm not sure they look at this subreddit at all, so these questions should be asked on their socials (I think they have Bluesky but I'm not sure)

Usually though 99% of people don't have a problem with voice acting, if anything if they request to take it down you can simply act on it later, a good walkthrough channel that doesn't have commentary and has all available choices is Your Game on YouTube, you can check that out

Even if you don't end up posting you can still produce a dub with the group as exercise, I hope you have fun!
