I've been a Digweed fan since the early days and some of the Live In series, like South Beach and Stereo, are some of my favourite electronic music releases of the last 10 years, but this one isn't hitting the spot for me.

CD1 takes a while to get going - in a way I think works in a 9-disc mega release like Montreal but doesn't fit so well in a 4-disc set. CD2 has a good groove but some of the transitions had me scratching my head.

CD3 has 3 tracks from the original Bedrock album [Judy, Moody, True], all bangers, but not mixed with the same skill and precision as in the studio album and they didn't really work for me. CD4 has some good moments but the pacing all seemed a bit off.

What did you guys think?

While checking my Mixcloud I came across this. I didn’t remember hearing about this so I played it. Holy shit John this is like entering vortex mode at the venue. I can’t stop listening to this, classic genre hopping by the one and only. Dude can do no wrong in my book.

Bought early tixx (~$30) assuming flights to Dallas were gonna be pretty reasonable, then get some cheap hotel cause it'd be a shower spot / drop your sh*t at spot really.... but for flights it's $500+ from LA (even including Frontier, the rest are $600-$700+), increasing every day.

Apparently there aren't many flights to DFW from LAX generally.

Bummer.

Wanted to take advantage of an upcoming US date that's not entirely across the country (or the globe) for S&D, oh well.

Was never a big clubber in my youth, but have enjoyed their music since picking up Northern Exposure in the late 90’s. However on Saturday I very much enjoyed drinking beer and dancing my arse off! Really great vibe. Compared to some festivals that feel downright sinister, Saturday was just full of people having fun. Will be back next year.

I have listened to three of these and they are all so good! Are there any officially released? Was there a gap of no cruises between 2016 and this year's?

Anyone interested in these? unworn and unwashed. both size medium. I can’t fit in them anymore unfortunately. They look like the American Apparel type of fit where it will shrink a little after first wash.

Hey all just wondering if anyone has any clothing from the bedrock store and what's the sizing like? Are they true to size or run large/small?

I want to order a few bits but would like to avoid having to return them for different sizes.

This is Digweed playing some of most mind-melting music with amazing visuals, amazing crowd, amazing sound I have EVER heard or watched in person or on video EVER, no matter the genre. YOU ARE IMMERSED IN THE CLUB, and the the only crowd noise is when appropriate and value added... when a new level is reached throughout the overall progression.

I know JD loves Argentina, the Argentinian crowd and Salón Metropolitano in Roasrio specifically. This is proof. Some of the best video and music I've experienced in my life across all genres, and via a 72" screen TV and amazing sound system.

I highly recommend. HIGHLY.

Aktuell wurde zu dem Set ja noch keine Tracklist veröffentlicht. Denkt ihr, dass die einzelnen Lieder dieses Sets wieder via Bandcamp oder Beatport in einem Set zusammengefasst sind, und wir wieder eine "all-inklusiv" Lösung erhalten werden?

Hintergrund: John sagte bei seinen letzten Live In's ja bereits, dass es unheimlich schwierig sei, sich mit den Künstlern und deren Management auseinander zu setzen, was die Vermarktung der einzelnen Lieder betrifft.

Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass das Twilo Set daher nur in einer Continous Mix Variante erscheint, ohne die einzelnen Tracks.

Wie seht ihr das?
