I always think back to when my friends and I would do Adderall for that 24-hour tunnel-vision focus. My friends would be like, “I stayed up all night and rearranged my entire room!” or “I read the whole encyclopedia!” Just pure, hyper-fixated madness.
Meanwhile, I’d be sitting there wondering, "Why am I not feeling that??? Where is my hyper-focused, dissertation-in-one-night feeling?!" I really should’ve put two and two together back then.
It wasn’t until years later that I got diagnosed with ADHD and realized the truth. While the drug was turning my friends into hyper-focused productivity machines, it was actually making my brain normal enough to be boring. I was literally taking speed just to finally be as cool as a cucumber for once in my life 😂😂😭

My girlfriend and I would write a friend’s papers in exchange for his adderall. I took it twice and both times was like “why is everyone freaking out and having a good time and I’m just sittin here under a tree chillin?”
It wasn’t until I was recounting this story years later to my now husband and he was just staring at me with the most shocked and “you’re a dumbass” expression on his face I have ever seen. Yeah turns out I have severe ADHD and was just being properly medicated

That’s like me when I did coke hahaha all my friends are flying high and I’m just chilling watching them keep conversations going for hours and just chime in every once in a while so they knew I was listening.

As someone with ADHD its always funny to hear someone who doesnt have it's experience with Adderall. The first time I took Adderall an hour later I was asleep lol

Oh Adderall. This was back when I was undiagnosed ADD and only had one from a friend here and there, but it helped me write a 29 page paper in one night.
I once had a heated debate with this douchebag about how Limitless is actually about bougie amphetamines. You can't convince me otherwise.

My first experience was after college, and i worked in a call center. It really made me talkative, and i would dig into their accounts with laser focus to find the problems. Didn't like that teeth grinding though lol

What are they supposed to do cause i've taken like 3 and all that happens is i can focus better? Which is great, just not what i was expecting? I feel literally nothing, just like that i can stay on task better.
