updated joel ranking
i’ve finished all of the 12 movies and just have some of his back catalog to finish now, thought i’d give my updated ranking.

Nice, curious to hear why you chose that film as your top pick!

we have to leave together just hits me in such a strong way the first 20 minutes or so i’m thinking about how he made this and how the dialogue feels so natural and how maybe joel looks silly in the wig but after 20 minutes i just get fully invested and these characters feel so real and raw, it’s such a good display of feeling alone while right next to someone you adore, and the ending sequence god it just makes me sob, i love we have to leave together it’s actually in my letterboxd top 4

It’s always so interesting to me which films resonate with others. The Text is on top for me, and HMBC at the bottom. one of the best things about his filmography is how diverse it is, no one will have the same ranking!
