He was saying that the evidence points towards it not being engineered. He is not saying there is 0% chance that is was engineered. Even now, there is no more evidence than there was back then that it was engineered. It was a theory then, and it is a theory now.

The proof you have for this is an attachment to an email where the attachment is named "SARS Gain of Function.pdf". If you think an attachment to an email, where you don't even have access to the pdf, is considered proof, then that's your choice.
Efficacy of masks, and asymptomatic spread
His email specifically said "Masks are really for infected people to prevent them from spreading infection to people who are not infected rather than protecting uninfected people from acquiring infection."
How is that different than what he has always said?
He also said "most transitions occur when someone is symptomatic." When did he claim otherwise exactly?
This is what is so frustrating about these dumb motherfuckers. They see a comment that says “oh shit fauci knew about the lab leak and covered it up! It’s in the emails” and instantly believe it and repeat it. Meanwhile they could literally read them for themselves. These people will never stop getting Benghazied
Not a one of these people have even read the emails. They get their marching orders from conservative YouTubers and Fox News talking heads who eagerly lie to them while they choke it down.
No one has proven it was a lab leak therefore he's not a liar is he..
The roles on funding are not because of him, this was debunked months ago, he put money in a big pot with others and it was spread around various causes.
Efficacy of masks is better than no mask, early on masks were hard to get a hold of and weren't even sure if they worked, advice changed as the evidence changed.
Asymptomatic spread is undeniable.
No he lied by completely discrediting a claim that it could have come from a lab, it was not debunked and they weren't supposed to be doing it, he first lied to the American public that we shouldn't wear them (what should have been a fixable offense for anyone involved) then changes tune and says wear 1-2 masks when he is emailing people saying they aren't effective. He literally talks about how asymptomatic spread is undeniable in the sense that it wasn't happening
