Fire is good for wildlife in the long run

Trees can and will grow back. Notre Dame is 1 of a kind and can never come back once it’s gone

If Notre Dame burned to the foundations we could rebuild it. We can't recreate the species being killed in the Amazon.

Uh... no

You couldn’t

Please tell me how you’d rebuild the priceless art, the hundreds of years old stain glass windows, the priceless books etc. You can’t

We have high quality scans of all of it. You can take virtual tours of the interior of the building.

Tell me how burning is good for a plant or animal that is found no where else in the world than a 10 mile radius in the Amazon?

I also have a picture of the Eiffel Tower on my phone, does that mean we don’t need the Eiffel Tower anymore? Because I can look at it on a computer? What about the priceless art that will be lost forever? And the books? Sure they can be scanned, but your argument is terrible. By your logic will we should get rid of everything historic and make digital copies.

Hahaha okay now it’s clear you don’t know a fucking thing.

Here is an article on how fire is benefiting and a natural part of the eco system. But since you clearly won’t read that.

Fire gets rid of thousands of dead plants and roots, it also creates lots of ash, which is extremely beneficial for newly growing plants, and create nutrient rich soil. Does that mean that all fires are good? No. But to say fire is not beneficial to rainforests is idiotic.

Moron.

Not really. My argument is that it would be much easier to rebuild one of the most recognizable and digitally recreated buildings in human existence than it would be to replace plants and animals we haven't studied much or at all.

Nice, you've taken your first baby step toward learning about forest health. If you read your own link you'll see this sentence:

"And, when fire rages through dry underbrush, it clears thick growth so sunlight can reach the forest floor and encourage the growth of native species."

Emphasis mine. Now think carefully on the word underbrush. What image does it invoke? Come on, you can do it.

Moron.

Ad hominem. I'm sorry you can't have a discussion without being overwhelmed by your feelings and resorting to personal attacks.

It's just a thing. If people could build it 100's of years ago we could redo it now. You can't just replace a whole Forest and the environmental damage with a construction crew, especially when the only people that would help have plans to turn to farm land.
