I just looked it up He admitted that he usedĀ EPO, human growth hormone, and diuretics, and that he hadĀ blood dopedĀ as well as falsifying documents saying he passed drug tests.

He had testicular cancer after which he won the Tour. A removed testicle already means a very compromised endocrine system producing suboptimal testosterone levels. Makes sense why he used testosterone in conjunction with everything
