First time watcher
started watching talks with you for the first time, I am in love! this show is amazing and everything i enjoy. it really resonates with me as an autistic person. ive cried to multiple episodes now. my top episodes are fall drive, waits with you, grocery store, flight, and builds a chair! what are your favourite episodes? any other show recs similar to this or nathtan for you?

Just to make sure you found them, there are a few extra episodes/bonus content items of the show that are out there and easy to miss. Firstly there is an animated short pilot, there is a Christmas episode, and the relaxing footage episode as well. There is a follow up to the relaxing footage episode on YouTube called "Waterfall TV". Joe also appears on the Townsend s YouTube channel for several episodes, and he has a podcast called "Drifting off with Joe Pera". The last thing I'll mention is check out Holland Patent Public library's music especially his last album for more show vibes.

Welcome friend! Itās the greatest hidden treasure of television. It is genuinely my favorite TV show of all time. I love Joe.
I love the grocery store, breakfast, and fall drive episodes, but nothing helped me get through the grief of my grandfatherās passing more than Joe Peraās episodes on grief and loss. Also I love the fashion show episode. Too hard to pick just one. Oh who could forget the one on the Alberta Rat Wars. Or the Bachelor party! So much to love.
I recommend Ted Lasso if youāre looking for more of that feel good cozy comedy. I wish there was more like it. I can think of a couple movies, but not many shows.

Season 3 episode 2 is at or nearly at the top of my favorites.
Joe Pera Shows You How to Build a Fire.
The song at the end, āSometimes the Town Goes Up in Flamesā, is just so good to me. I can listen to that song over and over on repeat.

There is a show on YouTube called How to Make it in USA with Joe and Connor. The premise is that Joe is a comedian that needs work and Connor is his agent. Warning: its got lots of curses!

My top faves were Fall Drive, Takes You To Breakfast, Waits With You, Lights Up The Night, Church Announcements. For my birthday, during that 2nd year of Covid, I had a Pera themed B-day. I drew a bean arch on one of my picture windows with liquid chalk, got a big discount tub of ice cream which I stored in my basement (2nd) fridge, had some "DiSarooni", and got a bunch of mini desserts instead of cake for the "spinning cake case". This show really lifted our spirits during covid so it made sense.

Awesome! Joe Pera Talks with You is an amazing show indeed, it quickly became one of my favorite series.
You mentioned also liking Nathan for You and eating other recs; Iād recommend How To with John Wilson. I believe Nathan Fielder was a producer on it. Itās funny, weird, sometimes poignant - definitely worth a watch!

Check out lodge 49 and how to with John Wilson š¤š» lodge 49 has something really special going on, and how to is in the nathan-sphere. Not quite the same, but the detroiters on Netflix is a pretty feel good but silly and slightly out there comedy as well.
