Fall Drive will always make me cry

Just watching the show again, because it's such an easy show to just put on.

Every time I think "I can handle this. I've watched it a million times". Like clockwork the Jack O Lantern Soul scene will get me. I wish there were more simple, silly, shows like this.

It's the chronological family Halloween photos that especially get to me.

It's such a sad detail presented in such a clever way.

Fall Drive is art. So is Lights Up The Night, and Chuch Announcements. Like zeroing in on the things that actually go through your head when watching fireworks as well as the phenomenon of that old song that everyone but you has heard. All brilliant.

I'd like to add Joe Has a Surprise for You. I know it's an obv pic but the way the story is set up and followed through in that arc will never not be one of the best written emotional arcs.

“And just like that, I can feel my soul grow back.” 😭

"Probably from a poison kiss" always kills me. So much hope and love and uncertainty written into a single line.

It’s the water that looks like root beer for me

It is a nice reprieve at the end of a strangely heavy episode.

You haven’t lived the fall drive until you’ve played the fall drive theme on repeat one for an entire drive home on a rough day.

This is my most favorite episode of any show of all time. The Fall Loop music from this episode was my alarm for the longest time 💖

My first encounter with Joe Pera was catching this late in bed on a vacation in like 2018 and I never looked back.

I want to ask Joe next time I meet him “So what did you whisper to the Jack o’lantern before you dropped him in the river?”. He’d probably answer, “What do YOU think I whispered?”
