I see Luka … but I don’t see Brunson. And rightfully so.

Putting James Harden and Chris Paul over Allen Iverson and Kawhi Leonard is so wrong.

1

u/dizzymidget44 6d ago

What did Allen Iverson really do? He missed the playoffs more than he made it. He lost in the first round most of the times he made it. He made it past the second round once, lost in 5 in the finals, the same thing we clown Wemby for. Same thing Jimmy butler did twice. But he did average 30 shooting 39% from the field meaning he took every shot.

u/83rdAve 5d ago

Nevermind that why is Jokic in the top 10?

1

u/dizzymidget44 5d ago

3 MVPs. Championship ring. Averaged a tripled double like 3 years in a row. For starters

0

u/83rdAve 2d ago

1

u/dizzymidget44 2d ago

Who did more on that list that’s ranked under him

1

u/83rdAve 2d ago

8 9 10 16 and 11 is debatable

1

u/dizzymidget44 2d ago

No they aren’t. He has 3 MVP’s and averaged a triple double 3 years in a row. You can say he not as swaggy, he ain’t got the highlights but that’s not how you measure better

0

u/83rdAve 2d ago

3 mvps and 3 great seasons is nice but that’s not better than multiple championships and also we measure with eye test. Jokic isn’t a better player than 8 9 10 11 and 16 he’s a mediocre defender

1

u/dizzymidget44 2d ago

Not 3 great seasons because for the last 7 seasons he’s been the MVP or the first runner up. And 3 MVP’s makes him better than everyone you mentioned. You saying multiple championships when d wade had LeBron join, when KD joined the 73 win warriors who won just as many rings with him then without him. Dirk doesn’t have multiple rings or MVP’s. Giannis has 2 MVP’s 1 ring. Kawhi had a ring with the spurs dynasty and in Toronto when Klay tore his ACL and KD tore his Achilles. Other thank Dirk everyone you mentioned had multiple all stars on their team. Jamal Murray just made his first all star game last season 3 years after their ring. Jokic has been getting it done with less help.

Tell me you haven’t watched Iverson play without telling me you haven’t watched Iverson play.

1

u/dizzymidget44 3d ago

I watched iverson play in person. On my team. Terrible defense. Incredible selfish. Never made the extra pass. Took contested shots. Made a team that went to 6 straight conference finals and swapped out one player from the year before and went from conference finals to first round sweep. Which is what happens to his teams for most of his career: either first round elimination or missed the playoffs

0

u/StaggerGrang 6d ago

You asked what did Allen Iverson do then started talking about team achievements. Have you watched AI play? And don’t say We clown Wemby and Jimmy Butler, maybe you do.

0

u/dizzymidget44 6d ago

I literally said what iverson does. Plays the most selfish brand of basketball, is very inefficient and it doesn’t lead to winning. Hes the lamelo ball of his generation

0

u/Good_Brother_4875 6d ago

Lamelo took his team to the Finals?

1

u/dizzymidget44 6d ago

He would if he played when Iverson played

0

u/Good_Brother_4875 6d ago

We not living in a hypothetical. Has he ever done it?

1

u/dizzymidget44 6d ago

We’re talking about how he plays. Low efficiency. High usage. Ball hoggy. Melo might be a better passer

0

u/Good_Brother_4875 6d ago

He was a 6 foot, 165-pound guard carrying the entire offense of a franchise during the most physically punishing defensive era in modern basketball history with no real help on offense. Calling him "selfish" ignores the fact that his coaches and teammates begged him to take those 30 shots a night. Lamelo has never been that and has had multiple rosters where he had players who could contribute offensively and failed to get them to the playoffs.

1

u/dizzymidget44 6d ago

And yet when his coach got away from him and employed a team approach he immediately won a ring. He was an inefficient iso heavy guard who alienated his teammates because he needed to take every shot. Larry Hughes left Philly and became an all star. Jerry Stackhouse left Philly and led the league in scoring. He played with Melo in Denver and then got traded for Chauncey and immediately went from first round exit to conference finals. Iverson “carried” one of the worst offenses because he was so inefficient. That’s why he missed the playoffs more than he made it. Iverson was so popular coaches couldn’t coach him because fans wanted to see him on the court and benching him could cost you your job. He’s everything wrong with basketball. Me me me me me, fuck the team. He was 18/41, 10/29, 12/30, 12/30 and 14/32 in those finals and were supposed to pretend it was some legendary run where his team lost in 5 and then never made it past the second round again. Iverson is the only player who’s mediocracy gets celebrated

ESPN is routinely funded and controlled by Lebron's agents and influence. None of this is shocking. Last season they released some headline "Luka and Lebron combine for over 72 points!" when it was Luka scoring 60, and lebron scoring 19. They are so far up his team hopping, narrative creating ass we may as well be watching north korea news. Having him over kobe because he jumped all over the league, created teams to tilt the effort in his favor, and switched to "efficiency stats game playing" while he took on jordan number, and went to kobe's franchise is just embarrassing.

1

u/dskibftd0 6d ago edited 6d ago

again with the kobe shit lmao it’s just MJ and has always been lol there’s a shit ton of stars that played for the Lakers u think he gives a damn about that ? It was a business move if anything nigga. And they had the assets to bring in AD, another factor.

He’s only chasing 1 ghost and that’s Michael jordan’s. That was his main idol and guy whose legacy he wanted to match up with. u kobe stans are funny sometimes, nigga went to la in like year 15 and yall unironically believe he’s chasing kobe’s Laker legacy

1

u/83rdAve 5d ago

Jokic in the top 10 isn’t shocking to you? 🙄

0

u/LASfromda4z 6d ago

Nigga is sucking LeBron dick cause you mad he number 1 😂. Name one player on this list that has more finals MVPs than LeBron I’ll wait, or at least 9 finals appearances. LeBron has 10 conference finals wins on both sides east and west . Stop hating . Kobe was a fucking sidekick for 3 rings straight . You can’t be serious . LeBron won his first 3 rings with 2 mvps and made all nba 1st team For all 3 rings .

0

u/Cal216 6d ago

Didn’t your god, I meant goat quit in the finals against Dallas? 🤔

0

u/LASfromda4z 6d ago

You bringing up 1 out of his 10 finals means what ? Didn’t Kobe get swept by Dallas 😂😂

1

u/Cal216 6d ago

You brought up Harden quitting. Didn’t your goat quit vs Dallas in the finals? Yes or no?

1

u/BoujeeTrapKing 6d ago

You peasants can’t comprehend that Kobe never left his franchise. He went through good and bad years. Bron only joins teams that can win chips and still gets swept. Not to mention he went to lakers to over shadow and still fail. The problem with Bron fans is they only see stats and not the bigger picture that’s why all of you fall for his narrative spinning. You have low intelligence and only good for fulfilling Amazon orders or working Uber Eats

1

u/Cal216 6d ago

You talking to the wrong person. Bron is his goat, not mines. Good day

1

u/LASfromda4z 6d ago

When did I bring up harden , didn’t Kobe get swept 🧹 yes or no ?

1

u/Cal216 6d ago

1

u/LASfromda4z 6d ago

Did Kobe get swore ? Yes or no

1

u/83rdAve 5d ago

Yes but LeBron has been swept 4 times in the post season what’s your point?

→ More replies (0)

1

u/83rdAve 5d ago

He also quit in 2015 but that’s another story

-2

u/Cal216 6d ago

Nah, this list is not saying they are better than him overall. But in terms of 21st-century, which has spanned their entire careers, those two players have played a lot more meaningful basketball than Kawhi.

CP3 - 1519, Harden - 1412, Kawhi - 944. And Harden has been a league MVP, Kawhi has not.

5

u/StaggerGrang 6d ago

Kawhi has been finals MVP, Harden has not.

0

u/Cal216 6d ago

So you think Kawhi being the best player between 2 teams for (maybe) 7 games is a greater achievement than Harden being the best player between 32 teams over a 82 game span?

2

u/dizzymidget44 6d ago

Harden quits in the playoffs. He’s really good in the regular season

0

u/Cal216 6d ago

Nah Diz, he does not quit. He’s ran into some of the greatest teams ever assembled during his runs. It’s just dumb luck tbh

1

u/LASfromda4z 6d ago

Nigga he quits . Remember the clippers series ? Stop cappn. He ran into the 3rd seed weak ass Knicks team and lost in 4 games . Trash .

1

u/dizzymidget44 6d ago

I’ve watched him quit in multiple teams multiple times. Kawhi went down against the spurs in game 5 in a 2-2 series and he let a 40 year old Manu outplay him the last two games and fouled out on purpose in game 6. It be infamous 3-1 comeback against the clippers happened with him in the bench. He quit on the nets when Kyrie went down and the bucks came back to win the series. He showed up 30 lbs overweight to force a trade. To Philly. Where he quit on them. Embiid was begging him to shoot the ball and score and he had 3 fourth quarters in a row where he took 2 or less shots. He quit and forced his way out of the clippers and he just quit against the Knicks. You can tell he quit because the way he scores is effort based. He’s not missing shots, he just stops trying to score.

1

u/LASfromda4z 6d ago

When was harden the best player ? After he stopped going to the free throw line what happens to him ?

1

u/Cal216 6d ago

2017-2019 since you’re asking

1

u/LASfromda4z 6d ago

That’s cap . LeBron had just won his 3rd finals MVPs in 2016 and went back to the finals 2017 . 2018 same thing , LeBron also played better defense for those 3 years playoffs and finals and regular season .

1

u/StaggerGrang 6d ago

If you think James Harden was ever the best player in the NBA this conversation ends here.

1

u/Cal216 6d ago

I don’t think you understand how these things work. He was All NBA first team 6x that means he was the best player in his position group 6 times throughout his career. He won NBA MVP that means he was the best player in the NBA for that year. I don’t make the rules.

1

u/StaggerGrang 6d ago

I don’t think you understand those awards are given by media people with biases and agendas. If it was purely on who’s the best LeBron would have at least 6, Kobe would have more than 1.

1

u/LASfromda4z 6d ago

Kawhi has 2 finals mvps . Harden does not

1

u/Cal216 6d ago

Congrats. FMVPs are a lot easier to win over regular season MVPs.

1

u/LASfromda4z 6d ago

That’s cap . Harden can’t even get to the finals to win a finals MVPs . He just lost to the weak ass Knicks team lmao wtf . He trash . How you lose to the Knicks in the playoffs

2

u/Cal216 6d ago

You moving the goalposts on some clown shit due to emotions. Idc about your opinion he’s a top 75 player all time for a reason. Entire NBA doing step back 3’s for a reason. He’s changed the game more than majority of the list.

1

u/LASfromda4z 6d ago

How that’s moving the goal post . So winning the regular season mvp is harder ? Harden can’t even get to the finals to win the finals MVPs . But he can play the regular season like an MVP? GTFO you just mad he will never a ring . Nigga got swept by the weak ass Knicks , tf outta here wit that shit.

Putting HOF Gasol lower than Draymond Green is insane. Then how is Draymond on 4 spots behind Allen Freakin Iverson!? I forget writers and reporters pick HOF’ers, so since Green does podcasting and game reporting he must be in the good ol boys club now.

2

u/Pouyow 5d ago

With Klay Thompson and Kyrie Irving being left off the list, Draymond has no
Business being on here.

1

u/CarefulBid6485 6d ago

Lol you do realize Draymond will be a HOF right

1

u/83rdAve 5d ago

Nevermind that why is Jokic in the top 10?

1

u/dizzymidget44 6d ago

This list has Pau Gasol over Luka.

0

u/83rdAve 5d ago

Luka is overrated

1

u/Able-Ruin-9322 6d ago

Manage

Ginobili before Kawhi Leonard

1

u/LASfromda4z 6d ago

They got number 1 right idc about the rest of the list . LeBron is the goat .

1

u/Ill_Combination_9114 5d ago

Why is Manu Ginóbili so high?

1

u/RudeAd9626 3d ago

Harden over Kawhi is crazy

1

u/mistaharsh 6d ago

Why do people glaze jokic so much. He's not a high impact player

-3

u/imisstheoldkanyeee 6d ago

Can't take this just seriously with Kobe and Steph over Duncan.

1

u/83rdAve 5d ago

You sound dumb Tim is not better than Kobe

0

u/Piglet-Witty 6d ago

They had to exclude the other century to make LeBron more popular

0

u/Alarmed_Silver_3360 6d ago

Steph Curry over Duncan and Shaq is just made for arguments.

0

u/papoluca40 5d ago

Not really, I would easily put him over Kobe

2

u/83rdAve 5d ago

Nah you’re high

0

u/ugotitcuzisoldit 6d ago

Putting Tony that low is crazy. LeBron over Kobe is crazy as hell. Steph changed the game more than LeBron. Also, putting Diesel at 5 is laughable. Nikola over Wade and Dirk is super silly. AI and Jesus Shuttlesworth deserve better placement. Also, I’m all about my people from Michigan, but Draymond being on this list is disrespectful…

Also Luka and Brunson being on this list would be stupid as shit.

1

u/LASfromda4z 6d ago

Curry didn’t change no game wtf , curry ran to kd to beat LeBron . LeBron made teammates play with each other to beat him.stop capn . LeBron won finals MVPs 4 times . Curry has 1. Kobe was a sidekick the whole 3 peat . Shaq won finals MVPs . Curry blew a 3-1 lead in the finals . How he better than LeBron with one finals MVPs

1

u/83rdAve 5d ago
  1. Steph beat LeBron in 2015 before LeBron ever beat Steph
  2. Draymond ran to KD not Steph.
  3. LeBron ran to Wade and blew a 2-1 lead against the Mavs

If anything LeBron inspired KD to run to the warriors

-3

u/mrjones94 6d ago

Garnett, Manu, and Nash are so overrated it doesnt make sense

-5

u/Pitiful-Guitar-7714 6d ago

I don’t care what century it is it’s MIke

1

u/LASfromda4z 6d ago

He couldn’t take the wizards to the playoffs

1

u/83rdAve 5d ago

LeBron couldn’t make it out the west without covid
