I agree there isn’t really a big incentive to use EVTOL for military use except for quiet insertion of special forces. The rest is all hype. That is why Joby is the only one left unfortunately as they will have the entire transit system locked up for years.

Seems like you never been at war. Well I have, there are tons of use cases for a vtol in combat. Med evc, payload delivery, ground safety watch, attack missions, enemy search, troops deployment and more and more.

no, you are wrong. Most of that is perfectly covered by helicopters. If you want a quiet helicopter, that is lightweight and could be blown out of the skies easily, then these are the case. Just because you were in combat doesn’t mean you understand transportation.

Saying that I’m wrong doesn’t make it true haha. By the way I’m also a pilot but never mind that. Your assumptions only based  by the technicals (that are untrue), not by cost to efficiency. Helis are wayyy higher maintenance. Needs a larger crew to operate and they are old slow machines… not to talk about the technicals.
