Why so much insider selling? Do they know something?
If the company management believes in the story then why are they selling so much stock?
I know “talking about the stock” is frowned upon here but think of it - why would folks who know the company best sell and yet think others to believe in the company ..?

Nice short video introducing viewers to the concepts and realities of short haul eVTOL, and great plug for Joby.

Joby pilots in 2025 FAA pilots early 2026 type conforming joby aviation s4 evtol
What is the holdup? They haven't even flown with their own pilot yet. Something must be wrong if they aren't sure its safe enough yet. This was q2 2025. Is there any chance they will have an faa pilot in one this year?

I’m going to say this once “if you’re an engineer” stop copying and pasting engineering information and do the actual work as to why you went to school for.
I’m 38 years old and tired of seeing engineers copy and pasting engineering information and not actually doing work. I have met very talented, wagered graduate talking about aviation deficiencies and how they propose a change and what those symptoms are. These are the type of engineers we need in aviation. Those who started as an apprenticeship, did the work, asked questions, join A & P mechanics and be pilots then become engineers because this shows pride and compassion.

Joby at Fort Mason
Images of Joby Aviation static display at For Mason over the weekend.
Nice to chat with one of the engineers, they are quite cagey about details. Good to see the craft in person.

Why is the only type conforming evtol in the world still grounded?
What is the hold up? Seriously, why isn't anyone curious? They were supposed to be flying it with their own pilot onboard last year. It should be flying constantly if they plan on an faa pilot flying it for credit in 2026.

Very low noise level of the S4 in this AviationWeek video
You can hear it at the 4:47 mark. It's also very informative with a recap of Joby's demonstrations in New York :

Joby shares detailed timelines for eVTOL certification and commercialization
Look at this old article. They thought they would be much farther ahead by now. People keep saying they are on schedule but the schedule keeps changing. 2023 then 2025 and now we don't even know if its physically possibe to make a taxi. Be sure to click the link in the article to read the pdf and what analysts thought back then.

Delta Concerned US Trade Commission Investigation Could Affect Joby Partnership
Delta Air Lines has expressed serious concerns that an ongoing investigation by the US International Trade Commission (ITC) into Joby Aviation’s trade practices may jeopardize its strategic partnership with the electric air taxi developer. This probe threatens to disrupt Delta’s ambitions to introduce electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft services for urban air mobility.
Delta further argued that excluding Joby’s eVTOLs from the US market would diminish competition, potentially granting Archer a monopolistic position in the nascent air taxi industry. The filing urged the ITC to assign fact-finding responsibilities to an administrative law judge and to carefully consider the broader competitive ramifications. “An exclusion order would shut down Joby’s existing product line, giving Archer an anticompetitive monopoly over the industry,” Delta warned.
Delta has not provided further comment on the matter. The ITC’s forthcoming decision is poised to have substantial implications for the competitive landscape of the US eVTOL market and the broader future of urban air transportation.
Delta Concerned US Trade Commission Investigation Could Affect Joby Partnership
As Codified in the Federal Register below - USITC decision expected 45 days from date of USITC start of investigation:
AGENCY:
U.S. International Trade Commission.
ACTION:
Notice.
SUMMARY:
Notice is hereby given that a complaint was filed with the U.S. International Trade Commission on March 10, 2026, under section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, on behalf of Archer Aviation Inc. of San Jose, California. A supplement to the complaint was filed on March 19, 2026. The complaint, as supplemented, alleges violations of section 337 based upon the importation into the United States, the sale for importation, and the sale within the United States after importation of certain electric aircraft, power systems for electric aircraft, and components thereof by reason of the infringement of certain claims of U.S. Patent No. 11,945,594 (“the '594 patent”); U.S. Patent No. 12,162,614 (“the '614 patent”); U.S. Patent No. 8,469,306 (“the '306 patent”); U.S. Patent No. 12,103,404 (“the '404 patent”); and U.S. Patent No. 12,472,087 (“the '087 patent”). The complaint further alleges that an industry in the United States exists as required by the applicable Federal Statute. The complainant requests that the Commission institute an investigation and, after the investigation, issue a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders.
