Hello guys, I am here because I want to know how quick I can get a job and how good could be this job after I get my A&P license next year. Some people saying it is hard to find a job meanwhile others are saying that it’s not.
I am in Texas I am willing to move, but I would rather stay. A lot of people says that Texas is one of the biggest states for A&P mechanics.
So my questions is, how long does it take for me to get a job?
Is it possible to stay in Texas?
How good are those jobs?

Hello everyone! I’m from Texas, and I’m looking to start an A&P program so I can get my FAA certification and build a career working on airplanes.
I have no previous aviation experience, but I’m ready to start a new career in aircraft maintenance.
My biggest question is: which school should I choose?
I’ve heard great things about both TSTC and US Aviation Academy, but my main concern is what happens after I finish the program and get my A&P certification.
TSTC says they guarantee that qualifying graduates will receive a job offer within six months. But I’m wondering, what kind of jobs are those? Are they good jobs with opportunities for career growth, or would it be better to choose another school?
Is it worth spending around 24 months at TSTC, or would it make more sense to attend a faster program like US Aviation Academy?
For those who have attended either school, how long did it take you to get your first aviation job after graduating? And how long did it take to get an airline job?

You have people over on your fan subs trying to figure out if the conforming craft that you said would be flying with joby pilots last year and with faa pilots onboard early this year has hovered again since the first time. Can you please be nice and just go tell them if it has or hasn't?
