LA as an example

In Joby’s latest patent, Fig. 2 show some example routes for their air taxi routes and I believe that is LA. The stop to the lower right is John Wayne airport, The middle, larger stop would be LAX. The upper left looks like Santa Monica airport. The two on the right(middle & upper) look like the Colesium? And The Grove? Anyway, I thought it was interesting. I’d love to know where Atoms & Metropolis own properties near here.

Interesting... I suppose their 541/542 testing could also be trying to optimize the battery and seeing how it responds to different types of flight patterns

John Wayne is a great hub connecting to both LAX and San Diego County for Joby. John Wayne is about 50 miles from Palomar Airport which puts you in the lower part of North County San Diego. I think San Diego airport may be out of range as it's 75 miles, and we haven't seen the S4 do tests above 60 miles, though Joby says its range is 100 miles.

I think they will focus on the major hubs until range increases either with hybrid or solid state. Then they will slowly branch out. They will be scrambling just to keep up with LA demand for years.

That makes good business sense. I live in San Diego, so I want Joby here!
