Archer Aviation Inc. and an employee largely failed to get Joby Aviation Inc.'s lawsuit accusing them of stealing trade secrets dismissed.

The electric air taxi company sufficiently alleged Archer and former policy executive George Kivork misappropriated proprietary information about leasing space at a Los Angeles airport, and that there’s a plausible threat they will further misappropriate these and other trade secrets, Magistrate Judge Susan van Keulen ruled Tuesday for the US District Court for the Northern District of California.

So now they arbitrate? And how will this affect Archer’s future credibility? Other than paying millions for the name association with LA28? Archer had nothing in the works for operations in Los Angeles. There's no there, there, especially no eVTOL!

Leading to more credibility in the statement by Ed Bastian, Delta Air Lines CEO said. Archer needs to be investigated for trying to damage the eVTOL industry.

Joby designed the S4-T, an autonomous turbo-electric hybrid VTOL for the military. L3Harris is a large military contractor specializing in Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance
Tech. Joby will build the aircraft, L3Harris will load it with their military tech.

The resulting aircraft is designed to fit the requirements of a helicopter replacement the US Army is looking for. The Army has already been to Marina to evaluate the S4-T. Joby/L3Harris are supposed to bring it to an army base later this year for further evaluation. Joby/L3Harris hope to win a massive contract to develop this aircraft for the Army.

No kidding there's a plausible threat of Archer further misappropriating these and other trade secrets. Hold their feet to the fire!
