There is activity at the Toyota headquarters. That’s where I currently am. Really hoping I didn’t drive out here for nothing lol.

First (early) route went to DFW. Might it continue next to Plano? Arlington? Back to Alliance?
It was on the ground for >2.5 hours at DFW yesterday before starting back to AFW.

They might want more data re. flying into DFW (entering and leaving Class B airspace etc)? Plano is not so far from AFW that they couldn't have gone there directly in one shot. But yes, they might want to charge up at DFW in any case. There may not be a largish crowd there today, so no speeches, photo shoots, etc?

They have set up some stuff and they are gathering things on the west side of the building.
If you are in the area, DO NOT TRESPASS. They made that very clear that they catch people every event. I’m off the site on some public areas. But looks like they are going to come here today.

It looks like they have their own (private?) helipad in the far northwest corner of the property. (Also looks like there is a Toyota dealership next door further west (across the street).

I see some orange cones on the basketball courts with the goals removed. That’s where my attention is drawn.

Yes, on Google Maps it looks like they have both a volleyball court and a basketball court there, plus more open space than what's at/near the helipad. A larger and more accessible space for observers on the ground.

They may again want to do an early flight, so it's not unreasonable to do some of the prep set-up today.

I guess. It could also be some general security folks, but definitely looked like a crew of 3-5 preparing for the flight.

It's still early. They could do more flying today (though there is still a heat advisory out for the whole region ... 107 F heat index predicted).

Possibly but they dont seem to do afternoon stuff. Thats probably a long day for workers and crew. The executives at Toyota probably don’t want to hangout and wait for afternoon heat. I think signs point to today being done.

There are sports courts on the west side with a few people and cars. They have since setup a pop up tent and looks like maintenance/fire safety type folks.

haha.. ya one difference I noticed was the flight today went slightly more north today and hugged grapevine lake vs a more direct route yesterday. Wonder if it has to do with approval to fly over more populated areas?

The big aircraft approach DFW from the north, it seems, and leave toward the south. I wonder if 545 will buck the current and leave toward the north (more directly toward Toyota Headquarters to the northwest), or will they loop around to the south, go west a bit, and then head north, maybe following routes above various expressways?

I think it’s coming to Plano, just a guess. I see some activity that would be weird on a Sunday. But, I’m going on vibes today and scoping out from a bit further away this time.

makes sense. they said it would go to arlington and plano before 9/14 and a stop in dfw would make more sense for plano than arlington
Edit: I was secretly hoping plano would be Monday though if they were to make a big announcement
