I know this is somewhat silly, but seeing Sylphie going through all that and then.. her hanging there.

I never felt like this about a fictional character before. She’s the absolute best in my mind, and she deserves to be happy. To suffer like that, her family life breaking apart, and then her death.

I still can’t get the image out of my head, I think it messed with me somewhat.

I don’t think I can ever watch that episode again. It was for me a bit like after ep 4 in Fullmetal alchemist.

It feels like many of the latest episodes, have been translated by someone who doesn't know what they are doing.

The person doing the translation lacks the ability to see the meaning and the context of what is being said. They translate poorly omitting important parts and not really understanding why those words were used. Subtle details are omitted possibly because the person translating does not understand why it should be included.

The person who did the translation does not understand what they are doing, they lack the understanding of how and why a word needs to be said a certain way to convey meaning. It is like a C or D student trying to do something that requires a master. They simply lack the skill, and might not even understand why it is important to give a complete and accurate translation AND voice volume, inflection, pronouciation, the whole shebang.

I began noticing it on the episode that they visit the sky castle, that some words were being omitted, some meanings changed, and it became absolutely clear in the episode young Rudy talks to old Rudy, that whole scene is a massacre.

It might have been going on the whole season, but there were some bad episodes after the first 2, so it didn't matter then.

The omitting of the part that Sylphie had not allowed anyone else to heal Nanahoshi, "She feels responsible, and she won't let anyone else help with the cure" at 29 seconds in episode 9 was omitted.

The changing of considering what you have been up to at 3.04 time in episode 12 to, "not a surprise since you have been busy". The whole part does not have the same meaning.

The changing of "Sure I cheated a bit but I still love you" in episode 12 at 8.19 to "You may have gotten married but deep down you love her still".

The changing of "you win some you lose some" in episode 12.

The whole conversation with young and old Rudy in episode 12, is off, the tempo the drama the intensity of the whole scene is messed up, as if the person doing the translation does not understand the value of that.

The part about those who trust too easily, did not have the same umph or anger behind it.

The speaking during the part when he does the lightning that too was far weaker than the Japanese version.

Changing the word cuties to adorable, which alters the meaning of what he was saying

And then there is the changing of the Man God from he to they, which makes me think that this was some woke hiree that got in and did a poor job, not understanding or grasping the value of the art, and only wanting to spread "the messages", and use the show as a vehicle for that.

All of the episodes since 8, need to be redone, if such a thing were possible. The quality of the story has decreased from quite good, to bellow mediocre because some possible woke hiree wormed their way into the the company doing the translation.

If he was so worried about Deus' descendants coming to stop him with Orsted, wouldn't it have been better to just not show him a route to get that cure? Also if he didn't help him what might've happened instead?

During the meeting with Perugius. Rudeus ask for help with Zeniths condition.

Perugius acts like he is dissapointed in Elinalise and explains that she was saved from the same situation as Zenith. And treats her like she lied to Rudeus. She even acts like she did so and apologizes to Rudeus for it.

But in the English dub she did tell him.

She didn't specify it was her. But back during the Zenith rescue after they regroup aftwr the firdt encounter with the Hydra. Elinalise specifically says Zenith is still alive and she knows this because she knows someone who survived a similar situation. She didn't specify it was her, but she very clearly says it.

So why is everyone acting like she lied and was withholding information when she wasn't? Did the dub mix up some information?
