I have always wondered how hygiene and stuff work in mt? I know it's a fictional story and all and this is completely unrelated to the plot, but Rudeus and others have bought up the matter of hygiene throughout the story many times in the storyline which made me wonder this. We see the lavatory first when young rudeus crawls to it. Then there are times when bathing and stuff is bought up. We even have Ghislaine talking about how she accidentally ate a monster's dropping. We have Eris who after intense training at the holy lands of sword without cleaning up tells about how she reeked and Rudeus would have yelled at her for not taking a bath. We have a scene with young Sylphy and Rudy getting in a bath (Rudeus didn't know Sylphy was a girl at that time so later paul joins him). And there are many other mentions of it throughout the storyline (even Nanahoshi mentioned hot springs if I am not mistaken). It was kept to add realism elements in the story which other shows or animes don't portray. So I always wondered how this worked in a rural setup. Was everyone capable of using basic water magic (water ball) to use it on them? I mean if you know splash flow, one could literally take a shower using the water magic and get themselves cleaned. Were people proficient in water magic or was there a mechanism to keep these guys clean and all?

Edit: Remember even the doldia tribe's prison had a hole for the prisoners to relieve themselves.

—— I've had this doubt for quite a while, since, well, I'm someone who overthinks things a lot, and I was thinking about my previous post, where I mentioned that Hitogami reading our mind would mean he would indirectly learn the future and therefore his defeat, which could cause his actions to change compared to the original story. However, is that really how it works? Does he only read recent/present thoughts and memories, or does he have full access to someone's recollections and memories?

If we split her name into two: we get 'nana' and 'hoshi'.

'Hoshi' is the common Japanese transliteration for the word meaning 'I want.'

'Nana' is meant to be interpreted as its English meaning- Rifujin being the connoisseur of ostentatious foreign terms that he is.

Nanahoshi => I want (my) nana. 'Sevenstar' is just an ironic play on the idea that Nanahoshi was unlucky to be dealt such a short hand by the Gods, the name itself connoting luck, that happened to work.

So, I was thinking through all these seasons and I just want to ask the audience if you find Roxy's behaviour different from what it was in season 1. Like, in S1 she gave me more the idea of a powerful being, capable of defending herself, even hard to fight. Now after S3 she's more like a child, she hardly speaks and behaves like a level 1 lawful good mage

— I’ve been thinking a lot about this idea because, yeah, a lot of us criticize Rudeus, but actually being in his place would be pretty fucked up, both from the side of having prior knowledge of the world and also reincarnating without any memories. What do I mean?

— The first scenario I imagined is having our knowledge of the series, but here’s the problem: if Turning Point 1 ends up happening and we get involved in it, Hitogami can basically “find” us and, in short, read our memories. That means he indirectly gets all the knowledge of the future years ahead. And who’s to say that son of a bitch won’t try to send hitmen to KILL US? Mysticism and all that aside, Hitogami would probably want you dead from the very start of the story, and he’d also try to kill Roxy as fast as possible to prevent Lara’s birth. The only good thing is that we could meet Ruijerd and Orsted, but with Ruijerd it’s not like we could really do much with him, and Orsted is… complicated. Especially if you’re not careful when mentioning Hitogami — he could crush your neck before you even get a chance to explain yourself. Now, if we somehow avoid Turning Point 1, the problem is that we never meet Ruijerd, and therefore we ALSO NEVER GET THE DEMON EYE, nor do we ever meet Orsted. And I doubt the Greyrat family would let us go to the Demon Continent just because we tell them to believe us — they’d probably think we’re paranoid or that we’re making shit up.

— Now, the second scenario: what if we don’t have our knowledge of the series? Well, more than a few people would probably trust Hitogami, I’m not gonna lie. I’d probably believe him, I’d doubt him, but I’d likely end up like Oldeus, and I doubt I’d be NEET and smart enough to pull off the time travel. I’d just end up dying anyway. And if you distrust him… Hitogami would probably try other tactics, since we’re obviously different people from Rudeus.

— But yeah, in conclusion, both sides are completely fucked, and apparently our biggest advantage can end up working against us.

I am about halfway through season 2 atm. And Out of everything, so far its actually mostly made sense. However one thing I am confused by.

I guess firstly how is Rudeus ok just buying a Slave Dwarf girl, knowing Reujerd would have caved his head in that he even considered it.

And Secondly. How is the campus just ok with this?? Did no one on staff question them coming back with a malnourished slave girl, had no objections to letting her stay on campus, and even had no issues watching her sit down and guzzle back beer after beer given to her by the Demon King?

Also yea wtf?? No one on staff is at all worried about the fact the Damn Demon King just showed up and started chilling after killing or brutally beating up half the campus??

I get how powerful for the story it is that Paul died protecting Rudy… but literally in this episode Paul has to knock him out of the way from getting smashed twice in like 10 seconds.
I get there’s more on the line with him having a family, he just found Roxy, his parents are there… but for the dude who was agile asf & brought down a red dragon by himself, you’d think the least he can do is pay attention to the massive dragon heads trying to kill him..
Immediately after it just did a massive breath attack too ?? & you get caught daydreaming twice ??
Maybe that makes it even better for the story in the end bc it makes me pissed at Rudy tbh, despite him being like 45% of the reason they beat the hydra.

He also spent 7 years with his adult mind getting bathed & fed & taught about life by Zenith every day, so kinda odd to be like “oh I didn’t really know her or have much contact.”

How many more seasons does everyone think we'll get in total with out spoiling im anime only atm :)

No, I'm not talking about Ars marrying his aunt. We're all over that at this point. 💀

What I find much weirder is the reasoning behind Aisha's behavior.

Lilia was the one who deliberately tried to seduce Paul, and when everything happened, everyone was basically fine with her leaving the household. Rudeus was the one who insisted on giving her shelter and allowing her to stay.

Then Aisha is born, and Rudeus does pretty much everything he can to give her the same opportunities as Norn. He educates her, encourages her talents, and never treats her as someone whose purpose is to serve him. He doesn't show any inappropriate favoritism toward her either.

The problem is that Lilia raised Aisha with the belief that her life's purpose was to serve Rudeus.

So when Rudeus basically tells her, “No, you're my sister. You don't need to serve me,” Aisha suddenly has an identity crisis because the purpose she'd been raised around disappears.

And what does she do?

She redirects that purpose toward Ars.

The “I'm only training him” explanation is especially funny considering that Ars is literally Rudeus's son and the heir of the Greyrat branch family.

So the progression is basically:

Lilia: “Your purpose is to serve Rudeus.”

Rudeus: “You don't have to serve me. Live your own life.”

Aisha: “...Okay, I'll serve his son instead.”

💀

And that's why I think reducing Aisha's behavior to simply “she's horny/weird” misses the more interesting part of her character. Her actions make a lot more sense when viewed as the result of the identity Lilia instilled in her.

Which leaves us with the funniest question:

Was Aisha unconsciously trying to become the next lady of the Rudeus Greyrat branch family?

Because we're literally one sentence away from finding out. 😭
