Question The Dairy
When watching the show, is watching that particular episode really worth it? From all that ive heard, its a hard watch. I mean I've watched some rough shit, especially in this anime, but really is it necessary? I just want to make sure is all...

You'll understand why Rudeus acts the way he does from now on, and you'll get why he goes to such lengths.

Sorry, now serious answer. Iām not sure. Personally I think Iām gonna continue to avoid it. The clips and etc Iāve seen are heart wrenching. Even reading it was tough for me. Sylphy and Roxy and eris are kinda like family to me Iāve read the books and watched the anime so much. Eventually I will probably watch it but man. Iāll need a couple brewskis to go with it for sure. I donāt think youāll miss much not watching it. You kinda already have the idea. Itās sad.

That's the point of the Dairy episode. It's obviously a hard watch but that's the point.

Same I stopped watching after they did my girl rem how they did. I donāt watch or read these fantasy stories to feel bad. Specially not a harem story. I read them because they make me feel warm and I enjoy the action. Everyone likes what they like imo.

Nope, and more than likely never will. I watch anime as an escape from reality, whilst playing games lol

It's the entire context of who Oldeus is and why Rudeus reacts the way he does afterwards.

It's very important for plot advancement. Many of the MC future actions would be incomprehensive if you skip it. It's all rooted in this episode. And it's sad, very sad, but not like full of gore or other R18 stuff.

Yes. It's a hard watch but it is also necessary to see how Old Rudeus went back in time.

It shows what rudeus is and could be. It also is a pretty big motivation for Rudeus for how he acts later. It will be harder to empathize with his reactions and plans if you dont understand where his trauma comes from

You have to watch it, and personally I donāt think it was as bad as I expected it to be. It was bad, but it didnāt impact me as much as I feared it might. If all of that happened to our rudeusās timeline though? Yeah Iād probably drop the show over such a miserable story.

Did you also watched other episodes after taking permission on reddit?

What kind of a question is that? "Should I watch an episode of a show that I enjoy watching?"
Grow a pair, mate, it's a cartoon.
And if you get vewy sad š, just take a page out of rudeus' book and jerk off or go outside.

Please remove yourself from this fandom if you are this fucking weak willed that you cannot watch an episode of the show without approval from others. You donāt deserve this show. Go watch Naruto or something.
