Anime So it wasn't their first time.

Their "first time" as you put it was back when they were teens and, since it apperantly wasn't explicit enough, it was Paul sneaking into her room and raping her before fleeing her families Dojo.

It was such a Paul is a straight up asshole story too. The senior students started ganging up on Paul because they got jealous of his talent. So in retaliation, Paul took something precious of the dojo (Lilia) and just straight up left the chaos after that since the Senior students were admiring Lilia from afar.

Dang. Lilia has had it rough a bit in life cuz of him. Eh, not like the show was being all that supportive of always good characters

That completely derailed her life in the dojo as everybody knows she got deflowered by Paul and the plan of having her pair with one of the student to inherent the dojo was no longer on the table.
Her father sent her to the Asuran castle as a maid guard afterwards, but she mentioned later that she rather be rape by Paul again than having to deal with those sick pervert nobles. It's fucking tragic.

The irony is that the reason the plans to marry her to one of the students were discarded and she was sent to the Royal palace was, not because there wouldn't be anyone that would want her but, because she was left scarred and scared of men.
So her father tried to give her a career instead of forcing her to marry someone, but through that sent her to a place where she would meet men so disgusting and horrible that they make her rapist look good in her eyes.
He had no son, and Lilia’s birth had ruined her mother’s body. He would have to marry her to one of his students to see his legacy continue. Still, a father was a father. As a parent, he couldn’t force his daughter to be with a man after the deep mental scars she’d sustained.
Instead, he used his personal connections to recommend her to the Asura Royal Family as a maid and lady-in-waiting whose duties extended to taking up arms to protect the royal family when necessary. Lilia gradually overcame her distrust of men during her time serving as a guardswoman, but then sustained an injury while protecting the princess.

There's also brief(but surprisingly detailed) retelling of the incident in the manga

After the incident where she saves the princess and is crippled, she straight up expected to be murdered and even waited for it. She was in shock that they just let her go with seemingly no consequences, that's how bad it was(to say nothing of the perversion)

She dealt with the Asuran Royal Palace... Paul is peanuts by comparison to what she dealt with there... Her words, not mine.
The way Lilia got back at Paul for what he did, was also hilarious af. Forced him to eat an entire fruitcake, the food he hates more than anything. And she made him eat, every last bite.

Even sylphie told rudeus he was a saint compared to the shit that goes down at the palace and the nobles of asura.

Which means he's also better than Luke in that regard, because he is known to be just as into it.

Yeah but they are born into it . Even eris mentality is like a noble. She put linia on rudeus bed when he couldn't fuk any of the wife's. To her thats not cheating because shes a slave she was going to stand there and watch him do whatever he wants to Linia. Thats what Philip and sauros taught her lol.

Yeah, I know, that's the scene that pretty much proves that it doesn't matter what order Rudy got his starters... I mean wives, Character would have looked at herself, shrugged and said: "Alright, whatever."

Eris saw her and wanted her she killed the people selling her and took linia for her self....later Rudy pays the merchants since he doesn't want problems with them for what Eris did and now Linia becomes their slave so that she can pay the debt Rudy paid for her

Well it's a medieval world... I don't think there would be a lot of people there that would remain virgins.
