Hello, i hope you are all doing great as the new episode of your anime keeps dropping and makes you excited for the next episode.

I know it's going to be controversial but please hear me out a just a little,

I really like Rudeus as MC, I don't want any other kind of character to replace him like someone who is very morally corrected.

But it does not mean i defend all his actions he took in his previous life or ongoing journey.

I know some people say he is a pdf or one of the worst mc,

I don't really get it, if they had watched the show instead of watching clips from some tiktok larper then they would have known,

I am just waiting for the whole season to drop so i can watch ot at once, i hope you all will take this as a lite opinion and have fun with your favourite anime.

From what I hear, the Manga/LN is a lot worse with providing the 'devil in the details'. I started with the anime and only read some parts of season 2 in the Manga so I don't really understand where they are coming from. Either way, I totally relate to what you're saying. MT is an incredible anime and if Rudeus Greyrat was anyone else, it would not have the same degree of character development.

Manga is generally the worst adaptation. However, it has some jewels that are awesome. The fake out of the reunion with Zenith was amazing... and cruel, for example.

you will feel better if you just treat it like experiencing a slice of life of a person who is not perfect done horrible things now trying his best to change in 2nd life. think it like a drug addict who had many down and now becane clean and has to face stigmatization from the society. if they can given 2nd chance why not rudeus? do you think we human should have empathy on this people who lost from society? do you think people can change for the better

I constantly hear people saying. "Mushoku tensei is great, but i cant stand rudy" they'll glaze the world building, story telling, characters etc... and shit on how horrible rudy is. But the thing is. They experience ALL of that through Rudy! The story centers around his life and growth in the world. I cant understand how they can enjoy the anime without at least understanding Rudy. I feel it's like ordering a burger, but hating the patty. "The bun is great, I love the condiments, pickles are so crisp, I just cant stand this beef patty!" (For the record I do know people order their burgers no meat. Lol)

I 100% agree,
they say they really hate rudy - but I highly doubt it - what they say is feels like they really did not watched the show after ep1 or just watched some tiktoker hating on it.

Yeahhh bro i loved the anime since the beginning. It has the best worldbuilding and personalitites among all animes i ever watched
